    L’EMPLOI ET LA FORMATION AUTOUR DE LA FILIERE BOIS DANS LES VOSGES Compte-rendu de la réunion SPEP tenue le 13 septembre 2018 à Moussey et consacrée à la filière bois Entreprises Vosges La sous-préfecture accompagne et assure la coordination entre les différents acteurs de l’emploi et ceux qui y sont associés En tant que présidente du Service Public de l’Emploi de Proximité de Saint- Dié des Vosges, je favorise la coordination mais aussi l’émergence d’une feuille de route sur les actions à mener de façon concertée pour lutter contre le chômage. Le taux de chômage à Saint-Dié des Vosges est de l’ordre de 12,3 % ce qui nous classe comme le territoire le plus impacté dans la région Grand Est en cette matière. Le SPEP étant un lieu d’échange et de réflexion pour les acteurs locaux de l’emploi, j’ai souhaité organiser une rencontre délocalisée du SPEP à Moussey en thématisant sur la filière bois, filière importante et à fort potentiel de l’arrondissement,. Nous avons associé la Scierie Raboterie Lemaire à nos travaux et avons pu visiter les deux sites de cette entreprise à l’issu de la réunion. Je tiens donc à remercier M. le Maire de Moussey pour sa disponibilité et pour la mise à disposition de ses locaux pour notre rencontre ainsi que la Scierie Raboterie Lemaire pour son accueil. Je remercie enfin l’ensemble des 40 participants au SPEP qui ont permis de faire émerger de réelles réflexions sur l’emploi et la formation dans la filière bois.

Brun., 2012, LX, No. 2, pp. 325–334 The paper describes strategic changes in the structure of grapevine (Vitis vinifera L.) varieties grown in the Czech Republic. Richard Page, Lara Schwarz, & Nora Hellmold Vosburg) due for publication in 2016. https://scholarworks.iupui.edu Texas Alsatian, Medina County, Texas 1 Introduction: Historical background The Alsatian dialect was transported to Texas in the early 1800s, when entrepreneur Henri Castro recruited colonists from the French Alsace to comply with the Republic of Texas’ stipulations for populating one of his land grants located just west of San Antonio. Castro’s colonization efforts succeeded in bringing 2,134 German-speaking colonists from 1843 – 1847 (Jordan 2004: 45-7; Weaver 1985:109) to his land grants in Texas, which resulted in the establishment of four colonies: Castroville (1844); Quihi (1845); Vandenburg (1846); D’Hanis (1847). Castroville was the first and most successful settlement and serves as the focus of this chapter, as it constitutes the largest concentration of Alsatian speakers. This chapter provides both a descriptive account of the ancestral language, Alsatian, and more specifically as spoken today, as well as a discussion of sociolinguistic and linguistic processes (e.g., use, shift, variation, regularization, etc.) observed and documented since 2007. The casual observer might conclude that the colonists Castro brought to Texas were not German-speaking at all, but French.
