Training sessions are planned to be conducted in the morning or afternoon on a half-day schedule. Prior to the start of each semester, student pilots will receive an academic calendar indicating the training schedule, including holidays and planned campus closures. General education classes will be scheduled and conducted separately from the ground and flight courses. Those classes will be conducted according to a standard academic calendar, and students will be referred to their respective instructors for that schedule. Advising will be available for students to ensure there are no scheduling conflicts between any of their classes. General education courses are recommended to be taken in the evening or online to minimize conflict with potential flight schedules. The designated classroom ground school sessions and flight instruction sessions may be subject to change during a semester due to weather patterns. Certification Testing Each level of certification requires the student to complete both computer based knowledge tests and practical skills tests conducted in the aircraft. These tests are proctored by a third party but will be scheduled by ISAE faculty on the students’ behalf. 3 ISAE Tuition & Fees Schedule Semester/Course Tuition Fees Excess Credit Fee Credits Associated Flight Fees* SEMESTER 1/Fall (Private): ENGL 1010 ----- ----- ----- 3 AERO 1000 ----- ----- ----- 12 AERO 1050 ----- ----- ----- 4 27,299.50 Total Semester 1 1,667.52 435.00 603.84 Semester Total Credits: 19 SEMESTER 2/Spring (Instrument): MATH 1105 ----- ----- ----- 3 AERO 1100 ----- ----- ----- 8 AERO 1150 ----- ----- ----- 3 27,800.50 Total Semester 2 1,667.52 435.00 ----- Semester Total Credits: 14 SEMESTER 3/Summer (Commercial): AERO 1200 ----- ----- ----- 8 Humanities Elective ----- ----- ----- 3 AERO 1250 ----- ----- ----- 3 10,177.50 Total Semester 3 1,667.52 435.00 301.92 Semester Total Credits: 14 SEMESTER 4/Fall (CFI/CFII): Soc/Beh Sci.
