D1d E-USE(aq) Technical performance & monitoring report Danish pilot 1 Summary Danish Pilot in Birkerød The site Hammerbakken 10 in Birkerød, Denmark is highly polluted with chlorinated solvents, especially TCE is a dominant contaminant. In laboratory studies by Environmental Technology Wageningen University it was shown that biodegradation of chlorinated solvents could be stimulated at low redox conditions at elevated temperatures like in ATES systems. The hot spot contaminated site at Hammerbakken 10 was selected by the Capital Region of Denmark (CRD) to demonstrate the stimulation of biodegradation of chlorinated solvents at pilot scale. The pilot was realized by the end of December 2017 and monitored thereafter in 2018. The ATES recirculation systems showed to operate as expected, whereas biodegradation was not stimulated in the first 6 months, as the redox was too oxic to allow biodegradation of chlorinated solvents. In June, electron donor was added to lower the redox. After July the first reductive dechlorination was monitored up to 30% dechlorination. However only DCE was formed and no significant other products as VC and finally ethene were formed. In early November a DHC culture was added, which readily resulted in a high dechlorination degree of already about 78% in monitoring well 1 within 2 weeks. Until March 2019 the wells will be further monitored for the reductive dechlorination of chlorinated solvent (mainly TCE). From the pilot experiment in 2018 it can be concluded that the ATES system as such functioned well without clogging by the presence of measurable oxygen concentrations in the first half year of operation. The applied ATES system showed to be fit to stimulate biodegradation of chlorinated solvents at optimized conditions like addition of electron donor and addition of a specific dechlorinating culture. -

De første cirka Metroens forløb 110 meter fra Solbjerg station mod vest løber Metroen i en tunnel. Toget kører ud af tunnelen gennem en portal og ud på en åben rampe omgivet af støttemure, hvor banen føres op til terræn. Herefter forløber Metroen som en åben bane først til Lindevang station, derfra på bro over Dalgas Boule- vard, videre frem til Flintholm station, over Grøndals Parkvej på broer og derfra i terræn frem til Vanløse station. -

Det glæder mig, at beboerne på Nakskovvej støtter den kollektive tr afik. Jeg er klar over, at det er en sej proces for naboerne til et større anlægsa r- bejde at måtte leve med de mange gener, der er i en a nlægsperiode. Når et så stort nyt projekt løber af stablen, er der ofte en længere startper i- ode, hvor man dels som nabo skal vænne sig til den nye tr afik, men også hvor både infrastrukturforvalter og jernbaneselskab skal have justeret og organiseret trafikken, før forholdende er faldet helt på plads. Som bekendt indviede jeg betjeningen af Ringbanen øst for Flintholm St a- tion den 8. januar i år. Men den sidste del af strækningen bliver først færdig i 2007, når Ny Ellebjerg Station skal indvies. Det er Banedanmark, der som infrastrukturforvalter står for anlægsarbej- derne på Ringbanen, mens DSB S-tog har ansvaret for driften af S-togene på strækningen. I dit brev beder du om, at der hurtigst muligt bliver indsat tidssvarende og lydsvage tog. Jeg kan oplyse, at det har været planen, at DSB S-tog i 2005 skulle afvikle trafikken med 3. generations S-tog, men på grund af materialemangel har det desværre været nødvendigt også at anvende en række 2. generations S- tog på ca. -

The result for 2013 before write-downs and depreciation was a profi t of DKK 216 million. The company's revenue totalled DKK 1,125 million. EBITDA corresponds to 22 per cent. The costs of the con- struction of City ring totalled DKK 3.1 billion in 2013, and the company's long-term debt amounted to DKK 6.8 billion at the end of 2013. Overall, Metroselskabet's fi nances are stable. The adjusted equity capital of DKK 4.7 billion was unchanged from the end of 2012 to the end of 2013. -
