Isele Waena Kampung, Waena-Jayapura e-mail: [email protected] Naskah Diterima: 2 Maret 2016 Naskah Direvisi:4 April 2016 Naskah Disetujui:2 Mei 2016 Abstrak Tulisan ini mendiskusikan tentang pola ‘orang asli’ menghadapi transformasi sosial ekonomi. Mapping of Travel Activity Pattern to the Cbd in The
MAPPING OF TRAVEL ACTIVITY PATTERN TO THE CBD IN THE DEPOK AREA Sugeng Rahardjo & Cholifah Bahaudin Department of Geography Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences University of Indonesia Tel/Fax : 62-21-7270030 E-mail : [email protected] [email protected] ABSTRACT Mapping of travel activity pattern to the CBD is more important as an information to the decision makers to plan the city. This information included the location of place which is obviously needed when the traveller is trying to find a given destination and also on the attributes or characteristics of a place. Those information is required if the individual tries to assess the likelihood that a destination will satisfy a given need. Development of the new CBD, will change the previous land use to become paved area. Meanwhile, the Depok city was considered to be the catchment area. To avoid mismanagement in urban environment, the development of new public facilities should pay attention to the carrying capacity of the area. Depok was rural area before the government developed large settlement for the civil servants in 1976, and after that it became a bedroom community. The development influenced the residents commuting activities to travel out of Depok area to work, school, shopping and so on. In 1987, the University of Indonesia was moved from Jakarta to Depok. Population growth in the Depok area between 1990-1998 was decreased from 12.26 percent to 7.8 percent, however, it was still very high compared to the Jakarta Metropolitan area (2.6 percent). Meanwhile, the land use settlement was increased from 46 percent to 72.22 percent of the total area of Depok. -

Income Inequality and Socioeconomic Segregation in Jakarta
Chapter 7 Income Inequality and Socioeconomic Segregation in Jakarta Deden Rukmana and Dinar Ramadhani Abstract Socioeconomic segregation has become a common phenomenon, both in the Global North and Global South, and highly relates to income inequality. The merging of these two notions affects the geography of residential areas which are based on the socio-occupational composition. This chapter focuses on the Jakarta Metropolitan Area (JMA). Not only is Jakarta the largest metropolitan area in South- east Asia, it is also one of the most dynamic. Batavia, the colonial capital of the former Dutch East Indies in the first half of the twentieth century, was a small urban area of approximately 150,000 residents. In the second half of the century, Batavia became Jakarta, a megacity of 31 million people and the capital of inde- pendent Indonesia was beset with most of the same urban problems experienced in twenty-first-century Southeast Asia, including poverty, income inequality, and socioeconomic segregation. This study aims to identify the correlation among income inequality, socioeconomic segregation, and other institutional and contextual factors which caused residential segregation in JMA. The analysis consists of two stages. First, we examine income inequality measured by the Gini Index as well as the occu- pational structure based on the International Standard Classification of Occupations (ISCO). Second, we investigate residential segregation by using the Dissimilarity Index as a result of socioeconomic intermixing in residential areas. The data in this study comes from multiple sources including Indonesia’s Central Bureau of Statis- tics, Indonesia’s National Socio-economic Survey (Susenas), Indonesia’s Economic Census, Jakarta’s Regional Bureau of Statistics, and policies related to the housing system and investment in the JMA. -

Turkish Journal of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation; 32(3) ISSN 2651-4451 | e-ISSN 2651-446X COST ANALYSIS OF DISTRIBUTION OF THE COVID-19 VACCINEUSING K- MEANS METHOD AND CENTER OF GRAVITYIN JAVA ISLAND – INDONESIA Mira Yanto1, Thyar Romadhon2, Andhika Putrana Isdy3, Fahrul Arifin4, Muchammad Fauzi5 1,2,3,4,5Industrial Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Widyatama University, Bandung, Indonesia 1Corresponding Email: [email protected] ABSTRACT The Covid-19 pandemic has caused panic everywhere, hundreds of thousands of people have been infected and thousands of others have died. After vaccines from several countries were found, WHO recommended mass vaccination to prevent Covid-19. The vaccine distribution process has been intensified, including in Indonesia. The vaccine distribution center on the island of Java is located in Bandung City, which is proposed to create a new Distribution Center so that the distribution process of vaccines at the 6 Health Offices in Java Island can be carried out quickly, in a structured manner, and that the distribution costs incurred are a minimum. The research objective was to analyze transportation costs by designing a distribution network of several distribution schemes to minimize the distribution costs for the covid-19 vaccine in Java using the K-means Method and the Center of Gravity Method. The results of the research to determine the clusterization obtained 2 clusters. Cluster 1 consists of the provinces of Central Java, D.I Yogyakarta, and East Java, cluster 2 consists of the provinces of DKI Jakarta, Banten, and West Java. From the 2 clusters, we determined the location of the new Distribution Center and obtained 2 Distribution Centers. -
