JULY,2001 Dear Customers, Thank you for purchasing the TEKKEN 4 PCB kit. This notice to inform you that the Dongle in this kit is not installed in the PCB Rack assy. Please follow the following instructions tu make sure that the dongles are fitted properly to the PCB. Best regards Dongle adjustments-To be conducted by technicians only r3m *The dongle included in this kit, is limited in usage for this product only. Please DO NOT insert the dongle in other games. Inserting dongles to other products may cause defects. *Please make sure that the power is turned off before inserting the dongle. 1 . Loosen the screws (round head philip screws M3 x 6) and remove the Dongle cover. 2 . Insert the dongle in the slot located on the left side, make sure that the barcode label on the dongle is facing up, and then press the dongle in until you have confirmed that the dongle has been locked with the connector properly. 3 When finished refit the dongle cover using the screws (round head philip screws M3 x 6) that were attached to the cover. The analysis method is based on computer games in particular and not some kind of transfer from other fi eld or studies – even though of course it is inspired from other kinds of analysis methods from varying fi elds of studies. The method is based on seven different layers of the computer game: hardware, program code, functionality, game play, meaning, referentiality, and socio-culture. Each of these layers may be analysed individually, but an entire analysis of any computer game must be analysed from every angle. Thereby we are analysing both technical, aesthetic and socio-cultural perspectives. Keywords Computer game, analysis, method, criticism, ludology INTRODUCTION Presented here is a method of analysis for computer game criticism. By focusing on different layers the aim is to analyse and thereby understand computer games better. The method of analysis is a bottom-up approach and like any method it has its fl aws.
