Others Concerned 1 . The 2017 Cagayan Valley Regional Athletic Association Meet with the theme, "Strengthening Partnerships through Sports", will be held from february 23 to 28, 2017 at the City of Hagan Sports Complex, City of !lagan to be hosted by the City Government of !lagan and the Division Office of the City of Hagan. 2. The DepEd division offices shall organize their respective athletic delegations comprising of the best qualified athletes, coaches and officials. 3. Billiards, Boxing, Futsa!, Wrestling and Wushu are now regular sports. Search for Mr. and Ms. CAVRAA and Dance Sports are special events added in this year's activities. Medals earned in Dance Sports shall be added to the general championship medal tally. Sepak Takraw Girls and Special Games for PWD's shall remain to be demonstration sport:: 4. Only winnable teams and athletes shall be selected to compose the CAVRAA delegation to the 2017 Palarong Pambansa. 5. All technical officials shall attend the scheduled accreditation/refresher course on February 20- 22, 2017. They shall report for registration on February 20 at identified quarters by event. Coaches shall attend the refresher course on February 21, 2017. 6. Coaches, chaperons, trainers, technical officials and camp officials who will serve in the 2017 CAVRAA Meet shall be granted vacation service credits pursuant ta the provision ot DepED Order No. 53, s. 2003 entitled, "Updated Guidelines on the Grant of Vacation Service Credits to Teachers." 7. Eco-Friendliest Delegation shall be evaluated by invited external partners. 8. Enclosed are the following documents: f Enclosure No. 1 General Guidelines and Information Enclosure No.2 Genera! Give us today our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and do not subject us to the final test, but deliver us from the evil one. If you forgive others their transgressions, your heavenly Father will forgive your transgressions.” Reflection: “This is how you are to pray.” Jesus taught his disciples how to pray, how to speak to a God so great that we as people are seemingly insignificant in his sight. Yet, Jesus, called Jesus, “Abba”, Daddy or perhaps if he was Tagalog, he would have said “Itay”. God is great and we are seemingly insignificant on his sight, yet, God’s live for us is so great that he asks us ton call him “Itay”, for each and everyone of us is not insignificant to God. Each and every one of us is loved by God, a Father who cares for His children. As one Lasallian community of disciples of Jesus, we are children of God; let us treat each with that same love that God has shown us.

Just as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so will the Son of Man be to this generation. At the judgement the queen of the south will rise with the men of this generation and she will condemn them, because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and there is something greater than Solomon here. At the judgment the men of Nineveh will arise with this generation and condemn it, because at the preaching of Jonah they repented, and there is something greater than Jonah here.” Reflections: The people of Jesus time were looking for a sign from God that God still loved them. Jesus did not give any sign except a sign that they should turn away from their sins and remember the Gospel. Just as Jonah preached repentance to the people of Nineveh. In our lives also in this time, many of us also seek signs that God still cares and loves us. Yet, it is the sign of Jesus, God becoming man and offer his very life for us is the sign which we shall receive. It is in giving of yourselves for the love of others and God that this sign shall truly till your life with happiness and joy.

    2017 PALARONG PAMBANSA BASEBALL (ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY) TOURNAMENT GUIDELINES AND GROUND RULES The OFFICIAL BASEBALL RULES shall be followed in all the games. In addition, the following Tournament Guidelines and Rules will be adopted; I. Elementary Baseball shall adopt the Little League Baseball Rules for Intermediate Division ( players ages 13 years and under, known as 50-70 Division). It shall be played in SEVEN (7) innings ,elimination, quarter finals, semifinal and championship game (G ___). Any team shall have the option to concede in any of their games. II. Secondary baseball on the other hand shall adopt the CONVENTIONAL BASEBALL RULES (REGULAR Baseball Rules). It shall be played in FIVE (5) innings during the elimination, quarter finals, semi final and Seven innings in the championship game (G___ ) only. Any team shall have the option to concede. III. For Elementary Division: THE PITCHING TASK/COUNTS and MANDATORY REST PERIOD FOR PITCHERS. Little League Baseball, 50-70 Division (Elementary Level): League ages 13 – 16, the maximum number of pitches is 95 per day. If a player pitches for _____ in a day No. of Calendar days of rest to be observed. 1-20 pitches 0 21- 35 pitches 1 36-50 2 51-65 3 66-85 4 Note: For pitcher who have pitched for 41+ cannot catch For catcher who have catched 4 innings cannot pitch For Secondary Division: Shall remain the same as reflected in the existing Tournament Guidelines.
