Monday 11 November  10.55 am Remembrance Day Observance Gather in Chapel to observe the two-minute silence

Sunday 1 December  6.15 pm  Advent Carol Service This service is ticketed. Invitations will be circulated to Fellows, staff and students at the beginning of November; members of the congregation wishing to attend should email the Chapel Secretary.

CHRISTMAS SERVICES Saturday 14 December  4.00 pm Christingle with Carols an interactive service for children of all ages, featuring the Choristers of Little St Mary’s Church

Tuesday 24 December  3.30 pm Christmas Eve Crib Service a service for young children at which we hear the Christmas story and assemble the nativity scene

The Chaplains value the participation of students, staff and Fellows at Chapel services and events. They are always delighted to hear from anyone who would like to read in services or to be ushers, regardless of their particular religious commitment. The Chaplains organise regular social activities for those active members of the Chapel community, such as Formal Halls.

BAPTISM AND CONFIRMATION Members of College interested in preparing for Baptism or Confirmation at the University Confirmation Service in Easter Term are encouraged to speak with one of the Chaplains.

CAMBRIDGE CYRENIANS The Cyrenians provides accommodation for over a hundred homeless men and women in Cambridge, making up a third of all supported housing in the city. They believe in homes not hostels and the majority of their accommodation is in 3-to 5-bed houses. They also offer specialised support and services for their residents, including an allotment project in the city which provides therapy and horticultural training for some of the most disadvantaged people in Cambridge. cambridgecyrenians.org.uk

MERCY SHIPS Mercy Ships is a faith-based international development organisation that deploys hospital ships to some of the poorest countries in the world, delivering vital, free healthcare to people in desperate need. Since 1978, medical missions by Mercy Ships have worked in more than 56 nations, providing services worth over £1.2 billion, and have helped more than 2.7 million people. The Dean and Chaplains are glad to see all members of College on any matter of personal concern and faith. The Chaplains are available regularly to meet with students, and can be found in their rooms at the times shown. They also attend breakfast and lunch in Hall most days and are always happy to chat to students informally.
