Investment Research — General Market Conditions 28 April 2017 Research Italy Renzi’s planned political comeback at PD leadership contest On 30 April, Italy's ruling Democratic Party (PD) will hold its leadership contest between former Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, Michele Emiliano, Governor of Apulia and the current Chart 1: Renzi remains favourite to Minister of Justice, Andrea Orlando. Should no candidate secure more than 50% of the vote, a win party leadership, according to run-off between the top two candidates will take place in the national assembly of the party polls within two weeks and the winner proclaimed on 7 May. Comunicato stampa PARTE DALLA “NATURA DELL’ITALIA” IL GREEN NEW DEAL AL VIA LA CONFERENZA SU BIODIVERSITA’, AREE PROTETTE E GREEN ECONOMY PROMOSSA DAL MINISTERO DELL’AMBIENTE CON FEDERPARCHI, UNIONCAMERE, FONDAZIONE PER LO SVILUPPO SOSTENIBILE ALLA SAPIENZA UNIVERSITA’ DI ROMA Roma, 11 e 12 dicembre2013. Nei parchi, dove la natura è protetta e valorizzata, ci sono più giovani che lavorano, più imprese, più turisti. La biodiversità vale, solo negli ecosistemi marini italiani, 9 miliardi di euro l’anno. E le aree verdi producono aria e acqua pulite, difesa dal dissesto idrogeologico, protezione contro il cambiamento climatico e i suoi effetti. La natura italiana è un asset per lo sviluppo del Paese. È l’inizio di un percorso verso un green new deal che parte dalle risorse naturali quello organizzato dal Ministero dell’Ambiente con la Conferenza nazionale “La Natura dell’Italia. Biodiversità e aree protette: la Green economy per il rilancio del Paese” che si tiene l’11 e il 12 dicembre all’Università Sapienza di Roma. Nel secondo giorno dell’appuntamento sarà presente quasi al completo il Governo, a partire dal presidente del Consiglio Enrico Letta, assieme alle massime cariche dello Stato: il Presidente della Repubblica Giorgio Napolitano – che interverrà nella mattinata -, i presidenti di Camera e Senato Laura Boldrini e Pietro Grasso. E saranno ben otto i ministri che si confronteranno sulle possibilità di uscire dalla crisi utilizzando le potenzialità del nostro capitale naturale: a intervenire, oltre al ministro dell’Ambiente Andrea Orlando e allo stesso Letta, i responsabili dell’Economia Fabrizio Saccomanni, del Lavoro Enrico Giovannini, delle Infrastrutture Maurizio Lupi, della Salute Beatrice Lorenzin, degli Affari europei Ezio Moavero, dello Sviluppo Economico Flavio Zanonato, dell’Agricoltura Nunzia De Girolamo, della Coesione territoriale Carlo Trigilia. -
