TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE 4 1. I am a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and have been 5 since 2010. I am currently assigned to the Bakersfield Resident Agency (BRA) in Bakersfield, 6 California. As such, I am an investigator or law enforcement officer of the United States, within the 7 meaning of Title 18, United States Code, Section 2510(7), and I am empowered by law to conduct 8 investigations of, and to make arrests for, the offenses enumerated in Title 18, United States Code, 9 Section 2516. 10 2. I have attended twenty-one weeks of new agents’ training at the FBI Academy in 11 Quantico Virginia. During my training at the FBI Academy, I received instruction entitled Enterprise 12 Drug Investigations, which provided training regarding United States narcotics law, drug 13 identification, financial investigations, enterprise drug organizations, and the techniques which have 14 been successfully used in the past for dismantling them. I also received instruction on large and small 15 scale street gangs and the methods they utilize in furtherance of their criminal activity. Additionally, 16 I have attended specialized training in wire, oral, and electronic interceptions and the use of wire, 17 oral, and electronic interception equipment. -

This study maintains that some of these puzzling phenomena may derive from riddles, and will focus particularly on some plausible answers that refer to a real creature that has for millennia been valued and hunted by man: the honeybee. -

ABSTRACT The Contribution of John Lounsbury to the Development of the Middle School Movement in American Education: An Oral History Sheila Rogers Gloer Committee Chairperson: Betty J. Conaway John H. Lounsbury is considered to be one of the founders of the middle school movement. His career began in the 1940’s as a junior high school teacher. He later became one of the key leaders in the junior high reform movement and subsequently, a leader in the middle school movement. Although Lounsbury retired from his position as professor and dean of the School of Education at Georgia College and State University two decades ago, he is still actively involved in the National Middle School Association and is the senior publications editor for the organization. This dissertation describes his career and his contributions to the middle school movement and his understanding of key philosophical underpinnings. The dissertation also analyzes the impact of Lounsbury’s work in molding the movement and how his work impacted other key leaders. Oral interview was the selected venue for this research because the interview process allowed for Lounsbury’s own interpretation of events which he experienced. Interviews with Lounsbury were conducted in 2005 and 2006. They were transcribed and analyzed along with interviews of twelve key leaders in the middle school movement as well as interviews of Lounsbury’s wife, Elizabeth Lounsbury, his executive assistant, Mary Mitchell, and high school best friend, Tom Rogers. The following four research questions were employed in each interview: 1) What led Lounsbury and others to develop and promote the middle school philosophy? 2) What factors present in the 1950’s and 1960’s necessitated reform for the education of young adolescents? 3) What are essential elements for successful education of the middle level student? 4) What is the future of middle level education? The responses to these four questions by all interviewees were analyzed and then organized into key themes. -

Voices of Feminism Oral History Project Sophia Smith Collection, Smith College Northampton, MA AMBER HOLLIBAUGH Interviewed by KELLY ANDERSON December 15 and 16, 2003, January 20, 2004 New York, New York This interview was made possible with generous support from the Ford Foundation. © Sophia Smith Collection 2004 Narrator Amber Lynne Hollibaugh (b.1946), a “lesbian sex radical, ex-hooker, incest survivor, Gypsy child, poor-white-trash, high femme dyke,” grew up in a mixed-race, working-class family near Bakersfield, California. Hollibaugh’s movement politics date back to Freedom Summer in 1964 and she’s been a fulltime movement activist—whether New Left, feminist, or queer—ever since. For the past two decades, Hollibaugh has been at the center of feminist debate over sexuality and a leader in the fight against AIDS. She was the founding director of the Lesbian AIDS Project at the Gay Men’s Health Crisis, the first project of its kind in the nation, and produced an award- winning documentary on women living with AIDS, Heart of the Matter (1994). She is the author of My Dangerous Desires: A Queer Girl Dreaming Her Way Home (2000) and is currently the senior strategist with the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force. Interviewer Kelly Anderson is an educator, historian, and community activist. She has an M.A. in women’s history from Sarah Lawrence College and is a Ph.D. candidate in U.S. History at the CUNY Graduate Center. Grand jury reports One report was so bad, that it may be legally actionable, in my view. IT has been no part of my intention in compiling these lists entitled "The Bench and Bar of Philadelphia," to give a history of the organization of the Courts, but merely names of Judges, with dates of their commissions; Lawyers and dates of their ad- mission, and lists of other persons connected with the administra- tion of the Laws in this City and County, and in the Province and Commonwealth. Some necessary information and notes have been added to a few of the lists. And in addition it may not be out of place here to state that Courts of Justice, in what is now the Com- monwealth of Pennsylvania, were first established by the Swedes, in 1642, at New Gottenburg, nowTinicum, by Governor John Printz, who was instructed to decide all controversies according to the laws, customs and usages of Sweden. What Courts he established and what the modes of procedure therein, can only be conjectur- ed by what subsequently occurred, and by the record of Upland Court.
