DOGS ACT reserves the right to amend judging arrangements if necessary. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING EXCERPTS FROM THE DOGS ACT RULES AND REGULATIONS, PART 17 – AGGRESSIVE DOGS: 17.1 Responsibilities of Owner or Handler: Each owner, exhibitor or handler at a Show or Trial must take all action necessary to ensure that any dog under their control or responsibility does not behave in an aggressive manner. 17.2 Reporting incidents of an Aggressive Dog: a) Any person at a Show or Trial observes an incident where a dog has acted in an aggressive or savage manner causing actual damage or unreasonable danger to any person or exhibit, should report the incident to the Show Secretary as soon as possible after the incident. b) In the case of a Judge, Steward or a Club Official conducting the event, this is obligatory. The Parade commences at 9.00 am STAR PUPPY CHALLENGE Heats to be judged at group level by group judge following judging of morning show Group Specials. Final after morning show General Specials judging. To be eligible for Star Puppy Challenge the exhibit must have won a minimum of two Classes in Show (All Breeds) and be under 12 months of age on 7 July 2017. SATURDAY 8 JULY 2017 AMISH CHALLENGE Heats to be judged at group level by group judge following judging of morning show Group Specials. Final after morning show General Specials judging. BREEDERS TEAM Team to consist of four dogs of the same breed, six months of age or over, bred by the same breeder. At least one representative of each sex must be included in the team (ie at least one dog or bitch). Final after morning show General Specials judging. SUNDAY 9 JULY 2017 JUNIOR HANDLERS 7 years to under 10 years, 10 years to under 13 years, 13 years to under 18 years. Judging commences at 12:30pm SUPREME DOG COMPETITION– Dogs entered in Supreme Dog Competition may be shown at all shows. Panel of three judges will judge the Supreme Dog Competition in main ring at completion of Judging of Junior Handlers and following the complete judging of the morning show. *To be eligible for the Supreme Dog Competition exhibits must be Supreme Champions. Need You Tonight won 5 MTV Video Music Awards and the song was featured in the 2000 film Coyote Ugly. Other entertainers performing at this year’s ball include the Venetian Macau troupe and a guest appearance by Japanese child prodigy/rock guitarist Yuto Miyazawa.
