*Please note that in Google Maps it may list the address as 30 Memorial Drive. There is an entrance to the building from the Memorial Drive side, just be sure you go into the building marked “Sloan School of Management.”

Walking Directions to Sloan from Parking Lot

Parking You can park at the Tang Building parking lot. (This is 2 Amherst St. and E51 on an MIT map. See below.) Due to construction it can be a little challenging to get to the parking lot (you need to follow detour signs around Main St.), but the lot is still open!

Driving Directions

Driving from the West (I-90 or Mass Turnpike) ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ Follow I-90 east to the Cambridge/Brighton exit (exit 18). Following the signs to Cambridge, cross the River Street Bridge, and take a sharp right onto Memorial Drive heading east. Follow Memorial Drive for 2 miles - you’ll pass the Hyatt Hotel, the MIT dorms, go under an underpass and then the campus. After the underpass, get in the left lane and watch for a sign for “Kendall Square” on your left. * Take a left at this sign, and at the light make a u-turn back onto Memorial Drive. Take your first right onto Ames Street and at the stop sign take a right onto Amherst Street. The Tang Building will be on your right near the end of the street. To get to Sloan from here, walk to Wadsworth Street, then follow the map at the bottom of this page titled “Walking to Sloan from Parking.”

Driving from the North (I-95 or I-93) ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ If you are heading south on I-93, follow I-93 into Boston and take the ramp on the left marked “Storrow Drive”. From here, follow the I-93 instructions from the Central Artery. If you are heading south on I-95, take the I-93 South exit then follow the instructions from I- 93. Alternatively, take the I-90 East exit from I-95 then follow the instructions from I-90.

Driving from the South (I-95 or I-93) ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ From I-93 North, take the second exit in the tunnel marked “Storrow Drive.” Storrow Drive follows the Boston side of the Charles River and MIT is on the Cambridge side of the Charles. Stay in the left lane and take Massachusetts Avenue Bridge exit ramp on your left. Take a right off the ramp and drive across the bridge into Cambridge - take the first right onto Memorial Drive. Get in the left lane and watch for a sign for “Kendall Square” on your left. Continue from asterisk in instructions from I-90.

Local: Driving from the Harvard/Mass Ave Bridge (Boston) ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ Cross the bridge from Boston into Cambridge. Take a sharp right at the end of the bridge onto Memorial Drive-East. The Charles River will be on your right. Watch for a sign on your left for “Kendall Square” just one minute further along. Continue from asterisk in instructions from I-90.

For those taking the T: ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ By train, take the Red Line to the Kendall/MIT Station. Once above ground (you will be on Main Street), head for the nearby Bank of America on the corner of Wadsworth Street. Walk half a block down Wadsworth Street toward the Charles River, then cross the street to a wide flight of stone steps — the MIT Sloan Plaza. The main MIT Sloan building is on your right.
