The Hoppings THE HOPPINGS HALL CLOSE | BODHAM | NORFOLK THE HOPPINGS 2 THE DEVELOPMENT The Hoppings is a stunning collection of just 16 open market, shared ownership and affordable brand new homes built by Broadland St Benedicts, a subsidiary of the Broadland Housing Group. Set in the North Norfolk village of Bodham, just 4 miles from the prestigious town of Holt. The Hoppings is named after the Bodham village “hop” dance events of the 1950s, The Maddison, The Swing and The Lindy Hop are energy efficient homes named after the famous dances. Externally the homes are thoughtfully designed, some with brick and flint to match the surrounding North Norfolk villages. The 3 shared ownership and 6 open market houses all have rear landscaped gardens, many of which are south facing and hold a 10 year NHBC warranty. Each house has fully fitted kitchens, flooring in the kitchen, bathroom, WC and all offer private parking or garages. In addition there is the opportunity for purchasers of the open market homes 3 to choose their kitchen finishes when reserving early and take advantage of the government Help to Buy scheme with just 5% deposit. THE LOCATION Bodham is a quiet North Norfolk village. The Hoppings is close to the village hall which hosts a range of regular events. There is also a public house, which serves food within easy walking distance and a community playing field. Bodham is situated 26 miles from Norwich and just 2 miles from the coastal village of Weybourne. The Georgian town of Holt is only 4 miles away with its range of amenities including shops, banks, restaurants, public houses, doctors and dentists. Holt, like other neighbouring towns including Sheringham and Cromer can be reached by car or bus. Bodham is popular with families due to being in the local schools catchment area 4 Plot 1 Plot 2 3B5PH 3B5PH OPEN OPEN MARKET MARKET Open Space Plot 3 3B5PH Plot 4 OPEN 2B4PB MARKET RENTED THE SITE SITE THE Plot 5 2B4PH RENTED 6 Plot 6 2B4PH SHARED OWNERSHIP Plot 16 3B5PH OPEN Plot 15 MARKET 3B5PH SHARED Plot 14 OWNERSHIP 3B5PH SHARED Plot 13 OWNERSHIP 3B5PH OPEN MARKET Plot 12 3B5PH OPEN MARKET Plot 11 3B5PH RENTED Plot 10 1B2PB RENTED Plot 9 3B5PH house detached bed 2 Plot 7 RENTED Plot 8 HOP LINDY THE 1B2PF 1B2PF RENTED RENTED house bed 3 SWING THE 3 bed house bed 3 MADDISON THE THE LINDY HOP 2 bed house Plot 6 is 790 sqft GROUND FLOOR 5 FIRST FLOOR M FT Kitchen 4.3 x 3.1 14.1 x 10.3 Lounge/Dining 4.8 x 3.3 15.9 x 11.0 Bed 1 4.8 x 2.7 15.9 x 8.8 Bed 2 4.1 x 2.3 13.5 x 11.8 THE MADDISON 3 bed house Plots 1, 3, 12, 13 and 16 | plots 12 and 16 are mirror images | 1,011 sqft GROUND FLOOR 6 FIRST FLOOR M FT Kitchen/Dining 5.7 x 3.0 18.7 x 9.8 Lounge 5.7 x 3.1m 18.7 x 10.1 Bed 1 3.7 x 3.1m 12.1 x 10.1 Bed 2 3.5 x 3m 11.4 x 9.8 Bed 3 3.0 x 2.6m 9.8 x 8.5 THE SWING 3 bed house Plots 2 and 14 | Plot 15 is a mirror image | 914 sqft GROUND FLOOR 7 FIRST FLOOR M FT Kitchen/Dining 5.2 x 3.0 17.0 x 9.8 Lounge 5.2 x 3.5 17.0 x 11.5 Bed 1 5 x 2.8 16.4 x 9.1 Bed 2 4.1 x 2.8 13.4 x 9.1 Bed 3 4 x .3.0 13.1 x 9.8 A STUNNING COLLECTION OF 16 BRAND NEW HOMES VIEW 1 VIEW 1 PLOTS 9, 10 AND 11 GENERAL STREET SCENE 8 VIEW 2 VIEW 2 PLOTS 1, 2 AND 3 FROM LEFT TO RIGHT PLOT 3 THE MADDISON, PLOT 2 THE SWING AND PLOT 1 THE MADDISON THE DEVELOPMENT VIEW 1 PLOTS 9, 10 AND 11 GENERAL STREET SCENE VIEW 3 PLOTS 3, 6, 11, 12 AND 13 RIGHT SIDE OF PHOTO IS PLOT 3 THE MADDISON VIEW 4 9 PLOTS 6, 7, 8 AND 9 RIGHT SIDE OF PHOTO IS PLOT 6 THE LINDY HOP PLOTS 1, 2, 3, VIEW 5 14, 15 AND 16 LEFT PLOT 16 THE MADDISON, PLOT 15 THE SWING, PLOT 14 THE SWING RIGHT (JUST IN VIEW) PLOT 1 THE MADDISON, PLOT 2 THE SWING AND IN CLEAR VIEW PLOT 3 THE MADDISON THE SPECIFICATION - OPEN MARKET UNITS BATHROOM AND ENSUITE ceilings in rooms. Box 1346 Ann Arbor, Ml 48106-1346 ilBSTRAGT The Cromer Moraine forms a distinctive geographical region near the coast of the northern part of the County of Norfolk. A pro nounced characteristic of this region is the vridespread cover of heatb-land, far less extensive than in former times. This heathland appears in its turn to have developed from an original woodland cover which was destroyed by the depredations of man and his domesticated animals . It has been necessary first to delimit the region as accurately as possible and this has been accomplished by means of a detailed study of local topography and of well-sections. The earliest evidence of the location of heathland comes from tlie Domesday Survey and this has been confirmed by references to heathland in various other documents dovm to 1750. By the middle of the eighteenth century the new developments in agriculture^ or ’Norfolk Husbandry’ as it was called, became widely known and practised, resulting in this region in a greatly accelerated reclama tion of heathland; so that by the time of the Tithe Survey (183S-42) less than a hundred years later over 4000 acres of heath had been reclaimed.
