Then in 1996 after about 2,000 miles, I decided to sell the car to improve a domestic situation. It was purchased by Doug Simon of Wacousta so it was still local. After 5 years (and a divorce), I called Doug to see about repurchasing the 64, but he had bought it for his wife and they wanted to keep it. I asked him to contact me if they changed their mind, but just to be sure, I would call him every 2-3 years. Finally, in the fall of 2011, there was some consideration to selling it. I had bought another 1964 Cutlass Convertible in 2001 to drive while working on my 1951 Olds Super 88, so I asked Doug to hold it until spring so I could sell the white conv. and he agreed. So I have had my 1964 Red convertible since then. WHO AM I
