Looking at the cost of replacing diesel bus fuel consumption and pollution costs. Result, the amount of social costs associated with carbon generation in all public buses is estimated at about 6786.72 $ per day for a daily commute, estimated at about 2477152.8 $ per year.

    Draft ECO Car Manufacturing Plan Preface: as a result and due to the increasing need to promote the intra ECO industrial joint investments and as per the negotiations and decisions of the ECO CCI Statutory meeting during the past several years in particular the final Report of the 14th Meeting of Industry, Investment and SME’s Promotion Committee held in Karachi, 14 November 2019 all the member chambers sense the need to address this issue. Hence the subject event highlighted the sıgnifıcance of the Small and Medıum Enterprıses and the very ımportant role that the joınt industrial cooperation and investments can play ın boostıng the ıntra ECO trade and ınvestment . In that same meeting the participants called for the joınt productıon of goods among the ECO member states namely a car whether ın part or as a whole joıntly and ın collaboration of the member countrıes. In this respect it was suggested that a joint venture be formed among the member states in order to facilitate and catalyze the joint production and manufacturing of vehicles namely cars which can also collaborate in the relevant areas such as spare parts production etc. Consequently the opinions and viewpoints of the member chambers will be of great value in this respect in order to further discuss the case during a technical committee meeting which will be held during the next meeting of Industry, Investment and SME’s Promotion Committee. Therefore obviously this proposal presented at the previous meetings is based on actual capabilities of the ECO region as it is also proposed that parts manufacturing for cars be promoted among member states focusing on SME’s production factories and plants to give SME’s another boost in the region.

The combination will create a global player in the automotive supplier business with pro forma combined worldwide sales of approximately $3 billion and 20,000 employees. Under the terms of the Merger Agreement, Joyson will acquire outstanding shares of KSS in a cash transaction valued at approximately $920 million on an equity value basis. The agreement has been unanimously approved by the Board of Directors of both companies. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2016, and is subject to regulatory filings, approvals and other customary closing conditions. KSS is currently owned by funds managed by FountainVest Partners, a Hong Kong based private equity firm, the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, and Crestview Partners, a New York based private equity firm, along with members of KSS management. Each of the existing shareholders views Joyson as a strategic investor, with long-term vision, that will help KSS achieve new heights.     American Journal of Applied Sciences 7 (4): 597-602, 2010 ISSN 1546-9239 © 2010Science Publications Determination and Evaluation of Privatization Effects on Financial Performance of Firms in Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) 1Hossein Panahian and 2Hamid Akbarzadeh 1Azad University, Kashan Branch, Kashan, Iran 2NIOPDC, Kashani St., Yazd, Iran Abstract: Problem statement: Does privatization process, as form of transferring the control of public (state-owned) companies via Tehran Stock Exchange, effect positively on their financial performance? In this study privatized and public firms were compared during 3 years before and after privatization process from 1994 -2007. Approach: To achieve the purpose of the study, the pre-test and post-test design was used. It included two experimental groups and one control group. Results: The results of comparing performance before and after privatization in these firms indicated significant relationship between privatization process and financial performance indices debt-asset ratio, return on total asset, return on equity, return on sale, operating income-sale ratio, gross profit margin, earning per share. Besides, comparing the performance of privatized and public companies showed a significant difference only in EPS (p = 0.026), while there is no significant relationship between privatization and other variables. Conclusion: These results indicated that by passing the transformation stage in the type of ownership in companies, privatized companies have more significance increase in the index EPS in comparison with government companies.
