THIRD EDITION ROMAN MISSAL LEARN MORE AT USCCB.ORG/ROMANMISSAL Here are some samples of the changes in the new translation of the Third Edition of the Roman Missal. The process of making a new translation of the Mass prayers has taken many years and has involved over a thousand experts. All the English-speaking bishops in the world have been consulted on these changes, as well many other people. The new translation will be more accurate, and will recapture more of the poetic beauty of the official Latin text of the Mass than we presently enjoy. Please remember that these changes will not be in use until November 27 2011. The following is so that you might know what is going on. Saint Michael Parish will provide more opportunities to study the new translation and become familiar with it in the coming months.
