This report is the result of six months of intensive work. But, it also marks the end of my time as a student, on which I can look back with great satisfaction. Before I started this project, my knowledge of the circular economy and contracts was very limited. This research made me learn a lot about the construction process, contracts and the circular economy. What I enjoyed the most during the whole process are the interviews with various companies. It was very interesting to hear that there are so many different views about the subject. This graduation project would not have been possible without the contribution of a number of people I would like to mention. To begin with, I would like to thank my company supervisors, Mohamed and Jeroen, first for the help they gave me during the formulation of my research proposal, and second for the precious tips, knowledge, advice and feedback I received during the research. I also would thank other colleges from abcnova for their warm welcome every morning at the office. The atmosphere made my daily trip from Eindhoven to Amsterdam worth it. I have also received supervision from the university. I would therefore like to thank Han Qi and Tao Feng for their guidance. Their good advice about the research approach and the analysis methods certainly helped me. Finally, I would also like to express my thanks to my family and friends. Above all my boyfriend, who made time to help me where necessary, but especially stayed very patient in the more troublesome times.
