*Innovative Make Up For Ever formula 15 VISUALS PRODUCTOS APLICADOS - JESSIE J NOT DEF – 95% TEZ • STEP 1 SKIN EQUALIZER HYDRATING// 27403 • ULTRA HD FOUNDATION Y205 // 32205 and Y215 // 32215 • FULL COVER 5 // 12305 and 8 // 12308 • CAMOUFLAGE CREAM PALETTE // 12202 • PRO SCULPTING PALETTE LIGHT // 14320 • HD BLUSH 225 // 28404 • ARTIST COLOR RUSH S112, S116 and S118 OJOS • ARTIST SHADOW M-100 // 77100 , M-620 // 77620 and M-626 // 77626 • AQUA XL EYE PENCIL M-10 // 16410 • 3-IN-1 PRO SCULPTING BROW 40 // 17240 LABIOS • AQUA LIP 13C // 16513 • ARTIST ACRYLIP 201, 400 and 501 16 COMUNICACIÓN DIGITAL ARTISTIC COLABORACION – JESSIE J JESSIE J’S TRANSFORMACION MAKE UP FOR EVER Cree que las personas son los artistas de sus propias vidas. Yet in this case the photographer is Dennis Hopper and the photographs, remarkably, are never before published. Shot in Taos, New Mexico, where Hopper was based following the production of Easy Rider in the late 60s, the series was tak- en with disposable cameras and developed in drugstore photo labs. This clothbound collection documents Hopper’s friends and family among the ruins and open vistas of the desert land- scape, female nudes in shadowy interiors, road trips to and from his home state of Kansas and impromptu still lifes of discarded objects. These images, capturing iconic individuals, wide-open Western terrain and drug-addled fun, create a captivating view of the 60s and 70s that combines political idealism and opti- mism with California cool. Dennis Hopper(1936–2010) was born in Dodge City, Kansas. He first appeared on television in 1954, and quickly became a cult actor, known for films such asRebel Without a Cause (1955), Easy Rider (1969), The American Friend (1977), Apocalypse Now (1979), Blue Velvet (1986) and Hoosiers (1986). In 1988, he directed the critically acclaimed Colors.

the store x A Shade of Pale the Store x A Shale of Pale, curated by Carrie Scott the store x A Shade of Pale curated by Carrie Scott May 15th, 2018 – June 3rd, 2018 The store x is delighted to present A Shade of Pale an exhibition curated by Carrie Scott that celebrates the debut of a select, inimitable group of 10 artists. Ambitious in scale, the exhibition takes over 2 floors of the store x 180 Strand space to feature some 470 photographs by Luca Anzalone, Lorena Lohr, Tom Munro, John Pawson, Federico Pestilli, Marina Shacola, Ellie Tsatsou, Bindi Vora, Marco Walker and Walter & Zoniel. The works in the exhibition, however, consciously bear no relation to one another; this is not a group show. Because of the uniquely monumental space afforded by the 180 Strand building, A Shade of Pale takes a curatorial leap that very few exhibitions can, bringing together totally disparate works that can co-exist in the same space but can also be simultaneously independent. Taking its name from the consciously impenetrable 1967 hit single by Procol Harum, the exhibition focuses on the intricate journey one takes when looking at a series of photographs, rather than embracing a linear conceptual conceit between single images. Each artist was therefore selected precisely because of the way his or her series draw the viewer into a unique world, building narrative slowly, over time, across multiple images. At 180, each body of work is allowed to both figuratively and literally exist, just as they must in their author’s heads; singular, complete and coherent in both photographic language and aesthetic.

Pirelli: in Moscow presenting the 2011 calendar, “MYTHOLOGY”, created by Karl Lagerfeld Moscow, 30 November 2010 – Today in Moscow, the 2011 Pirelli Calendar, now it its 38th edition, was presented to the world’s press and to other guests and collectors from around the world. The event was held at the prestigious Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko theatre, which has, over the course of more than 90 years, been the site of operas and ballets that have become a part of the nation’s artistic heritage. After Patrick Demarchelier immortalised China in the 2008 edition, Peter Beard drew a portrait of Botswana in 2009, and Terry Richardson covered Brazil in 2010, “The Cal 2011” features the creative genius of the multi-faceted artist Karl Lagerfeld, whose sense for art and aesthetics is renowned throughout the world. From his Paris studio, Lagerfeld created “Mythology”, a calendar that reflects one of his deepest passions, that of Greek and Roman mythology, tales of the origins of humanity told through the adventures of gods and goddesses, heroes and heroines. On a voyage back through time transported by the universal language of photography, “Mythology” takes us to the roots of classical civilisation and takes the Pirelli Calendar back to the Old World, where nearly 140 years ago a company was born that was to become a multinational organisation with operations in over 160 nations around the world. The 36 photos that make up the 2011 Calendar show 24 different subjects, including gods, heroes and myths. With his keen eye, Lagerfeld has ‘sculpted’ these photos both in terms of their aesthetic rigour and for the recurring references to the art of sculpture and its classical tenets.

He opens the aperture when a fi lm begins and closes it when it ends. In the resulting images, the screen becomes a luminous white box, its ambient light subtly bringing forward the rich architectural details of these spaces. He began the series by photographing the classic movie palaces built in the 1920s and 30s, their ornate architectural elements a testament to the cultural importance of the burgeoning movie industry.
