"Serious vocal my personal passion, and although I have never been particularly attracted to classical ballet, I find the combination of grace, athleticism and beauty of movement, and sheer emotion which your dancers provide at each performance satisfies me in a most unexpected way. Please don't ever leave us." R. P. Hogan, III

"We can't thank you enough for the inspiring week you spent in our community. David and the company members so graciously shared their knowledge and talents with local dancers and our audience. The performance of "Carmina Burana" was simply breathtaking! Everywhere we go, we are receiving amazing feedback on how much people loved the show — I received the latest compliments at the coffee shop this morning." Stacey Mickelbart, Purdue Convocations Staff

"It's just amazing to me how enthusiastically new DK gets all the time. I am as gratified to observe the kind of spirit which sparkles between the dancers, staff, and audience too, as I am entertained and inspired by every performance. From the moment I enter the lobby and see smiling faces and am greeted often by name, I feel that DK charge. And I say much the same thing to anybody, anytime I can." Herb Schlotterbeck

Visit the Ticket Office. On behalf of the entire DK Board of Trustees, it is my pleasure to welcome you to this Dance Kaleidoscope presentation! I know you will thoroughly enjoy the program. If you are new to the DK family, I personally invite you to come back again and again to experi ence the amazing quality and inspirational performances of this exceptional company. When David Hochoy first arrived in Indy, I was fortunate to serve as the company's managing director. Although I left the professional employment of DK a few years later, I never left the DK family. My partner Chris and I have been huge fans and supporters for 16 years and I now have the honor of serving as the Board President. The DK Board is one of the most energetic, hard-working and dedicated boards I have ever known - and for good reason: DK is such an inspiration to us, that helping to ensure its future is well worth the commitment of time and treasure. So, when I am not servicing the needs of my real estate clients, I am doing all I can to support DK, the work of our all-volunteer board and waving the flag as much as humanly possible. I hope you are as inspired as I am by the gift of this incomparable dance ensemble. Thanks to you for all of your generous support. Doug Dilling President of the Board

Doug Dilling's professional career spans nearly 30 years in Indianapolis non-profit, arts and cultural administration and fund raising. From 1992-95 Doug served as the Managing Director for Dance Kaleidoscope, re-establishing fundamental business opera tions and moving the offices to Butler University, just after David Hochoy arrived. Doug left DK to be theVP of Marketing and Development for Metro Indy Public Broadcasting, a position he held until 2001,when he started a residential real estate business, concentrating on Downtown Indianapolis. He is consistently ranked among the top real estate brokers in downtown Indy. Doug is also an accomplished tenor soloist and studio musician, and records regularly for various music publishers. Doug and his partner Chris Schroeder have spent the last 15 years rehabbing an I890's-era home in the historic Fletcher Place Neighborhood where they live with their dogs Alex and Fletcher.

When Danielle Falconer moved to Indianapolis from her hometown of Cleveland in 1999, everywhere she went - from business meetings to the gym to parties — people told the former gymnast,"You would love Dance Kaleidoscope!" And, it was true. As Danielle says, she was instantly "hooked." Danielle, who has served on the board for five years and spear heads Spectrum, Dance Kaleidoscope's young professionals group, is particularly interested in sharing the excitement of contempo rary dance with new audiences. She is both a resident and fan of Indianapolis who appreciates the things that make ours a great city — local art and dining, fabulous attractions and definitely the World Champion Indianapolis Colts! The senior account director at Borshoff, an integrated communications firm, works with clients in industries, including health care, professional services, education and not- for-profit providing strategic public relations and marketing counsel and implementation. Danielle is married to Brendon Falconer and has two young daughters, one of whom attended her first DK performance earlier this year when she was just four weeks old. 36 .11 IpM - '

For the past 3 years Lisa Long has been living in NYC. Upon landing there she choreographed an off-Broadway musical. The dancing received wonderful reviews. The NY Times called her work, "innovative and exciting." A collaboration with long-time friend Barry Doss reversed their roles and allowed Lisa to design movement to showcase his costumes for a fashion show. It also gave her the opportunity to set a piece on a company of burlesque dancers. Lisa danced for Jonathan Riedel's newly blossoming company, Riedel Dance Theatre. She performed a duet with (another former DK dancer) Andre Megerdichian that had people wondering how they danced so seamlessly together!

Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy took up all of Lisa's time, money and brain power for almost two years. Now she has a second career as a licensed massage therapist. Her NYC practice was in full swing, filled with dancers, athletes and four professional boxers. Now her journey is taking her to Van Nuys CA. (with Andre and just up the road from another former DK dancer Jessica Johnson) where she plans to continue choreographing, massaging and dancing while surrounded by sun, sky and loved ones. Lisa says be sure to tell everyone,'Addison the cat is now 14 years old and he's very excited to be able to go outside again!"
