The Academic Center for Equity and Inclusion The center serves as a hub for leading research, scholarship, and creative expression to address issues of equity and inclusion, and to support faculty development in ensuring the success of a diverse student population. Additionally, we offer institutional membership to the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity. The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) CTL supports excellence in teaching and encourages research, publications, and other scholarly and creative work produced by the University’s faculty. The Office of Online Learning and Services This office provides a wealth of support for St. John’s faculty. Through workshops, consultations, and online resources, you are offered a variety of ways to improve your online and hybrid courses, teaching skills, and pedagogical approach. The Office of Grants and Sponsored Research (OGSR) The OGSR provides faculty service and support related to research activities across the University and works closely with the Office of Business Affairs regarding postaward items such as the financial management of sponsored projects. Sponsored programs include research, instruction and training, public service, evaluative testing, and other scholarly and creative activities conducted under the direction of University faculty and staff and funded by organizations external to the University in accordance with award regulations. The OGSR works with faculty across the University to develop collaborative interdisciplinary research groups with common interests.
