MANAGER’S DESK FOR SUNDAY, JUNE 20, 2021

WELCOME TO THE MANAGER’S DESK, I’M MIKE CORNELL.

TODAY IS FATHER’S DAY.

How do you celebrate Father's Day?

To celebrate Father's Day, try making your dad a card and writing a note inside letting him know how much you appreciate him. You can also surprise him with his favorite meal, whether it's breakfast in bed or a nice dinner.

I FOUND SOME INTERESTING QUOTES ABOUT FATHERS: Mark Twain; When I was a boy of 14, my father was so ignorant, I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be 21, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years.”

Jerry ; You can tell what was the best year of your father’s life, because they seem to freeze that clothing style and ride it out.

Rita Rudner; I gave my father $100 and said, ‘Buy yourself something that will make your life easier.’ So he went out and bought a present for my mother.

ONE MORE FOR YOU:

Jim Gaffigan; There should be a children’s song: ‘If you’re happy and you know it, keep it to yourself and let your dad sleep. REMINDS ME OF THE TEE SHIRT I GOT FROM ERNIE HAASE THAT SAYS, “JESUS TOOK NAPS. I WANT TO BE LIKE JESUS.’ LET YOUR DAD TAKE A NAP TODAY.

AND ON THIS FATHER’S DAY, LET’S NOT FORGET THE GREATEST FATHER OF ALL. 2 Corinthians 6:18: "And I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty."

THANKS FOR LISTENING TODAY. I PRAY OUR PROGRAMMING TODAY IS AN ENCOURAGEMENT TO YOU IN YOUR WALK WITH CHRIST.
