Students Achievements in various Sports tournaments

Boys’ Football Team:

The DJSCE Boys’ football team participated in “FLAME Kurukshetra 2020”, held from 19th January to 26th January, 2020. Total 25 college teams from various cities had participated in the said competition. The DJSCE Football team achieved the Runners-up position in the tournament.

The players that played in the team for this tournament are:

Swimming Competition (Ms. Radhika Gawde):

The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of had launched the “” scheme to promote the culture of sports & excellence in sports in the country. The third edition of “Khelo India Youth Games 2020” was conducted from 11th January to 18th January, 2020 at Aquatic Centre, SSC in .

One of our First Year students, Ms. Radhika Ravindra Gawde from Biomedical Engineering received a Gold medal in the 4x100 meters relay race in “Khelo India Youth Games 2020”. She also received a bronze medal in the 4x100 meters medley relay swimming competition. Furthermore, she stood 4th in the 200 meters butterfly stroke event.

Semifinals: Lost to KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce
