This artide reports on interesting Danish Microlepidoptera collected in 1992, and comments on remarkable findings from previous years o f specimens not definitively identified until now. The classification and nomenelature follow Schnack (ed.): Ent. Meddr. 52: 1-163. Three species are new to the Danish fauna: 1) Tinea steueri G. Petersen, 1966 (Tinei dae). Bred from an owls nest from a farm in southem Jutland. 2) Phyllonorycter medicaginella (Gerasimov, 1930) (Gracillariidae). Numerous mines found along a highway on Falster and Farø. The foodplants were various Meli/otus species and Medicago sativa. The species is currently spreading from the South East towards North West of Europe. 3) Eccopisa effractella Zeller, 1848 (Pyralidae) was found in a single specimen in theisland ofFalster. I t is probably a migrant from central or eastern Eu rope. Among other species of special interest the following should be mentioned: Eu zophera bigella (Zeller, 1848) (Pyralidae). A single specimen from a light trap on Fal ster. Like the first Danish specimen it was taken in a period when other migrating species were recorded. Denisia augustella (Hiibner, 1796) (Oecophoridae) was found in a single specimen in a garden in the central part of Zealand. The species was be lieved to be extinct from Denmark. The male genitalia of augustella can be separated fromthose o f albimaculea by the shape o f the anellus, which in augustel/a forms an acute angle, whereas it in albimaculea are right-angled. -

A checklist of the Microlepidoptera species recorded in Slovenia is presented. Each entry is accompanied by complete references, and remarks where appropriate. Until now, the data on Microlepidopteran fauna of Slovenia have not been compiled, with the existing information scattered in literature, museums and private collections throughout Europe. The present checklist is based on records extracted from 290 literature sources published from 1763 (Scopoli) to present. In total, 1645 species from 56 families are listed. Wissenschaftliche Biographie Mag. Dr. Peter Huemer Kurzfassung: Dr. Peter Huemer, 1959 in Feldkirch (Vorarlberg) geboren, befasst sich seit seiner frühesten Jugend mit Schmetterlingen. Nach dem Studium der Biologie und Erdwissenschaften mit Schwerpunktforschung in Hochgebirgsraum der Ötztaler Alpen widmete er sich während seiner Dissertationszeit den Schmetterlingen an Rosengewächsen. Nach Beendigung des Doktorates erfolgte 1986 ein neunmonatiger Studienaufenthalt am Natural History Museum in London. Seit 1987 ist Peter Huemer im wissenschaftlichen Dienst am Tiroler Landesmuseum Ferdinandeum tätig. Er zeichnet dort für die riesigen Insektensammlungen (mehr als 1. Mio. Exemplare) verantwortlich und widmete sich in zahlreichen Freilandstudien der Biologie, Ökologie und Taxonomie sowie dem Naturschutz von Schmetterlingen, vor allem des Alpenbogens. As the result of the study of extensive material from several countries of the West Palaearctic, 26 species are newly recorded from 28 countries. Additionally, the following new taxa are described: Dryadaula minuta sp. n., Nemapogon arcosuensis sp. n., Nemapogon similella sp. n., Nemapogon grossi sp. n., Eudarcia hellenica sp. n., and Crypsithyris turcica sp. n.. A description of the female genitalia of Eudarcia echinata and Eudarcia lobata is given for the first time. Two species are transferred from Paratinea Petersen, 1957, to Crypsithyris Meyrick, 1907, Crypsithyris sarobiella (Petersen, 1959) comb, n. and Crypsithyris trimaculata (Petersen, 1973) comb. n. Tinea angustipennis Staudinger, 1871 syn. n. is a junior primary homonym of Tinea angustipennis Herrich- S chaffer, 1854 and regarded as a junior subjecive synonym of Stenoptinea cyaneimarmorella (Millière, 1854). Tinea trichophagoides Zerny, 1935 syn. n. is regarded as a junior subjective synonym of Xeranthica tephroclysta Meyrick, 1930. Key words. West Palaearctic; new records; new species; new combinations. Introduction In the past I have had the opportunity to study moths of the Acrolepiidae, Douglasiidae, Epermeniidae, and Tineidae from 28 countries of the West Palaearctic. As a result I am able to give first country records for 26 species. Additionally, some new species were recognized. They are described below. The material comes from the collecting trips of several colleagues; and is now deposited in various museums or in the private collections of the collectors. -

Thisartide reports on interesting Danish Microlepidoptera collected in 1999, and commentson remarkable findings from previous years. The classification and nomenelature follow the new Danish catalogue (Karsholt & Stade! Nielsen, 1998). F o ur species are reported as new to the Danish fauna, l) Bucculatrix absinthii Gartner, 1865 (Bucculatricidae), 2) Digitivalva reticulella (Hubner, 1796) (Ac rolepiidae), 3) Psoricoptera speciosella Teich, 1893 (Gelechiidae) and 4) Hellula undalis (Fabricius, 1781) (Pyralidae). Leaf mines and pupae of the genus Phyllocnistis were found on Salix alba in southwesternJutland. They belong to P. xenia M. Hering, 1936, which we tenta tive ly regard as a form o f P. Iabyrinthella (Bjerkander, 1790) ( Gracillariidae). This form was not recorded before from Denmark. Batia lunaris (Hw.) (Oecophoridae) was bred from lichens growing on 1axus baccata. The larvae livedunder spinning covered by excrements and were found in May. In the literature it is mentioned to feed on dead wood and under bark. Homoeosoma nebulella (D. & S.) were taken in at least 76 specimens at several localities in the southern part ofDenmark. Only 6 specimens have earlier been taken in the country. The specimens collected in Denmark represent part of a h uge immigration, probably from south-east. The totalnumber of Danish Bucculatricidae is now 13, of Acrolepiidae 5, of Gelechiidae 172 and of Pyralidae 190, resulting in a total of 1507 species of Microlepidoptera (families Micropterigidae-Pyralidae) found in Denmark. -

[Remarkable records of Microlepidoptera in Sweden during 2011.] – Entomolo- gisk Tidskrift. 133(1-2): 65-78. Uppsala, Sweden 2012. ISSN 0013-886x. This is the 39th annual presentation of remarkable records of Microlepidoptera in Sweden. Until this year, they were authored by Ingvar Svensson who listed his and other collectors’ finds and observations, but during the winter 2011 he passed away. His reports included 162 species new to Sweden and over 8000 new province records, to a large extent a result of his own efforts. I have been asked to continue his work with reports mainly following a similar disposition as the previous ones, but a particular presentation of various localities, where interesting species have been found, is omitted, at least in this report. The weather during 2011 was on the whole not very beneficial for collecting, but oc- casionally migrations were observed, which resulted in interesting records of rare species. For instance, Diasemia reticularis (Linnaeus, 1761) was found in several provinces along the Swedish east coast mainly during 2-3 days in the end of July, signalling a major influx from the east, which hopefully will give rise to new populations, beside of the single one known from the north of Sweden. Also species which normally are encountered when southern and eastern winds prevail were observed. For instance, Anania verbascalis (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775), now possibly also a resident in Sweden was recorded from many places, and Evergestis frumentalis (Linnaeus, 1761), which has been found only three times in “modern times”, was discovered in the province of Skåne.
