EVI.Migiakl.GREEK.RESORT.WEAR Evi Migiaki introduces a wide range of luxury resort wear. All her collections are inspired from her Greek heritage, as her origins are from both Rhodes and Crete, two cities with major impact to the Greek history. The collections include dresses, jumpsuits, kimonos with unique handmade embroideries, skirts and tops, from fine textures such us silk, cotton, viscose. All prints, patterns, embroideries are exclusive designs of her. Every piece is 100% Hand made in Greece and made with love. VALLEY OF BUTTERFLIES PANAXIA RHODES ISLAND The collection “Valley of butterflies” is inspired by the by the homonymous valley in Rhodes Island, which has a history that goes back to 1728. The valley of butterflies, which is located in the Panaxia biotope, is the only natural forest of a very rare species of a nocturnal moth, Panaxia Quadripunctaria or Jersey tiger butterfly. This is why the area is protected. During the last phase of their life, they have to preserve energy, as they have already transformed from caterpillars into butterflies. This is the reason why they appear in thousands in the valley. This breathtaking phenomenon is the main inspiration of this collection. The delicacy, the colours and the lightness of the collection reflects the circle of life of these mesmerising crea- tures. With their unique art and architecture, and the spread of their ideas through contract with other cultures across the Aegean, the Minoans made a significant contribution to the develop- ment of Western European civilization. Labyrinth the Knossos palace complexes, vivid frescoes depicting scenes such us bull-leaping and processions, prince of Lilies, fine gold jewel- lery, elegant stone vases with vibrant decorations of marine life are all particulars features of Minoans in Crete. The Prince of Lilies is a celebrated Minoan painting excavat- ed in pieces from the palace of Knossos, capital of the bronze age Minoan civilization on the Greek island of Crete. The beauty of the Minoan civilization, its artistic identity and all the show-stopping creations of this era is a great inspiration for our collection. Rhodes was the wife of God Helios who was honored for creativity and music. This is the reason why the Colossus of Rhodes was dedicated to him. The island of Rhodes was an important center for God Helios, one of the only places where he was worshiped as a major. The main depiction of him is on a chariot with four horses that drive him into the sea, spreading the golden light around the island every morning. The Sun is a life giving source and it symbolizes a promise of a new day, full of worth-living momentsThe impact of God Helios, the majestic beauty and the warmth of the sun is what inspired the designer for this collection. ‘’Find your inner light and shine bright with Helios resort wear’’ Helios Star Ruffle Dress Helios Star Ruffle Dress Selene Shirt Solar Ruffle Skirt Eos Pants & Eos Shirt Åvi Migiaki Athens Greece www.evimigiaki.gr / www.evimigiaki.com Tel: 00306948076325 Email: [email protected] Instagram: evimigiaki Facebook: Evi Migiaki helios resort wear Photographer: Yannis Fragos Styling: Notis Sakoulas Model: Vanessa Otillia Mua: Stavropoulou Elena Graphic designer: Vasilis Nasios.
