Staff Bios

Patrick is currently a manager in the Organization. He played his college ball at Mars Hill College and then went on to play professionally in the Frontier League. He served for 8 seasons with the Organization as a hitting coach. Patrick also served as a Head Patrick Anderson Coach at Hofstra University before taking the job with the Nationals. His days with Baseball Factory go back to the beginning when the company first was founded.

Eric is a former 2nd Round pick of the . He played several seasons with the Tigers and Red Sox organization. Prior to his pro career, he was an All America Pitcher at the University of Tampa. where he is also a member of the school's Athletics Hall of Fame. Also during his Collegiate career he was Eric Beattie named Cape Cod League Most Outstanding Pitcher and was recently inducted into the league's Hall of Fame. He is currently the Head Coach at Strawberry Crest HS in Tampa.

Gary played SS for Cedar Valley Junior College where he helped the Suns finished 2nd in the Nation in 1997 and led the Nation in fielding percentage, he Gary Brown completed his career at Howard Payne University. He is currently the Head Baseball Coach at Venus High School and helps coach the Waco Storm during the fall and summer. Coach Brown has been with Baseball Factory for seven years.

Joe played his college baseball at Manatee Community College and Brewton-Parker College where he won the NAIA National Championships. Following his Joe Collis playing career he was hire as an Assistant coach at Brewton-Parker and State College of Florida.

Pat played his college ball at the University of West Florida, then went on to play 5 years of professional baseball with the . Currently, Pat Patrick Cottrell serves as the the Assistant Coach Pensacola State College. He was previously at nationally ranked University of South Carolina Beaufort. Pat has also served as an assistant coach at the University of West Florida, where they won a D2 National Championship in 2011.

Todd played a Virginia High School, in Bristol, VA, and then went on to play at Emory Henry College. He had a coaching stint as an assistant at Holston High Todd Cross School, where they were state runner ups in 2010. He is now back at his alma mater, Virginia HS, where they have won state championships in 2014 & 2015, and finished as state semi-finalists in 2016.

Stephen Cucci is the Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach at Palmetto H.S. in Palmetto, FL. He is also the Head JV Football Coach at Palmetto HS since 2012. Stephen Cucci Stephen is a retired Lt/Paramedic with the Sarasota County Fire Department. He is entering his third season with Baseball Factory.

Kory is a former Major League outfielder with the . He attended Morningside College and was a 7th round pick of the Pirates in 1997. He Kory DeHaan garners almost a decade of coaching in Professional Baseball with the Padres & Pirates. He is currently a Manger in the Minor League System.

Tyler has been a part of the Baseball Factory for 8 years. In his playing days, he competed in Baseball Factory events and multiple Team One Tournaments. Tyler Dukett After high school, Tyler went on to play at Asbury University.

Brett is currently coaching at Lakewood Ranch HS. He comes from Oklahoma Weslyan where he was an assistant coach and worked with hitters and Brett Holte catchers. Holte played at Manatee CC before finishing his career at Oklahoma Wesleyan University where he won the NCCAA National Championship.

Dillion graduated Magna Cum Laude from USF with his Bachelors in Athletic Training. He has been working with Factory Athletics for 3 years. He is currently Dillon Harrington the assistant athletic trainer at Washington Lee High School in DC.

Randy is the Logistics Coordinator for Baseball Factory. He is also an NATA-certified Athletic Trainer who has worked in high school, collegiate and professional settings. Randy was the trainer for The Citadel who played in the 1990 College World Series. Prior to his stint at The Citadel, he interned with Randy Hodge the Philadelphia Eagles. For the past 24 years, he has taught Elementary School and has been the High School Athletic Trainer at Virginia High School in Bristol, Virginia. Randy has been working with Baseball Factory since 2002, providing excellent event efficiency and overall quality, and loves the game of Baseball.

Ryan is currently the Head Coach at Lakewood Ranch HS in Bradenton. He won two national championships at the University of Tampa and then went on to Ryan Kennedy play in the organization.

Bryan Lewallyn is the Head Coach at Pensacola State College. Before returning to his hometown, Bryan joined USCB as the assistant baseball coach in August 2010 and was named the as the Sand Sharks' interim head coach in November 2011. After leading the Sand Sharks to a school-record 41 wins and Bryan Lewallyn their first Avista-NAIA World Series berth in his first season, Lewallyn officially was named USCB's head baseball coach. He also had the opportunity to attend the scouting bureau’s scout school program, where he learned the process of evaluating amateur and professional talent. Before arriving at USCB, Lewallyn was the pitching coach at Northwest Florida State College.

Ryan is currently a hitting coach in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. He is a former 2nd round pick of the Kansas City Royals and went on to have a 10 Ryan Long year playing career. Before coaching with the Pirates, he spent several seasons coaching in the Kansas City Royals and White Sox Organizations.

Mitch played his college ball at Virginia Intermont College where he earned his B.S. He then went on and recieved two masters degrees from the University Mitch McGill of Tennessee and Emporia State University. He has coached Trinidad Junior College in Colorado as well as multiple high schools.

Bo is a former Baseball Factory Pre-Season All American. He then went on to play at Wayland Baptist University where he was a three time All Conference Bo Moore pitcher while also earning All American honors. After college he went on to play professionally for several seasons. He is currently an assistant coach at Crowley High School in Dallas, TX.

Elvin is currently a coach in the Pittsburgh Pirates Minor League System. He played college baseball at Northeast Oklahoma A&M College, and was drafted Elvin Nina by the Astros in 1994. He went on to Oklahoma State University, and was drafted in the 17th round in 1997. He went on to play at every level in the minor league system for 9 seasons.

T currently serves as the Hitting Coordinator for Baseball Factory. He played college baseball at Jacksonville University, where he was an All-American. He was then drafted by the Montreal Expos, and in 2000, Talmadge made is MLB Debut. He has previously served as the GM and Field Manager of the Talmadge Nunnari Pensacola Pelicans, a Professional Independent League Team. Following his time in Pensacola, Talmadge went back to Jacksonville as an Assistant and Recruiting Coordinator.

Phil Olson has been working with Baseball Factory for over 4 years. He is a Florida native who played his college baseball at Florida State University. Olson Phil Olson was a 20th round draft pick by the in 1995 and went on to play 3 years professionally.

Rich played college baseball at Francis Marion University and has coached at every level of college baseball. He currently serves as an Associate Scout with the , and as a College Recruiting and Baseball Operations Consultant with Baseball Factory. Before that he was the hitting coach for Rich Pasquale the Washington Wild Things - a professional independent team in the Frontier League. Previous college stints consisted of being the Head Coach at DI Youngstown State University and DIII LaRoche College. He has also been an assistant coach at DI Pitt and DII Slippery Rock University.

Ted is originally from Fall River, Massachusetts and has an extensive coaching background. He is a former assistant coach at Eckerd College in Florida. He has also coached in the prestigious with the Bourne Braves and the . He was the Director for River City Teddy Regan Baseball for 15 years before his time at Eckerd College, and coached the USA/Japan International Friendship Series in 1996. The Fall River Herald News awarded Ted with the “Coaches Who Make a Difference” award while he was an assistant at Bishop Connolly High School.

Dick has been coaching in the Tampa area for the past two decades, and is the current Head Baseball Coach at Newsome High School. Previously he was the Head Coach at Sunlake High School in Tampa. He spent 12 years as Head Coach at Chamberlain High School. He is a former college assistant coach Dick Rohrberg at University of Dayton as well as a former assistant coach at University of South Florida and Coastal Carolina University. He played his college baseball at the University of Dayton.

Rodney has coached and scouted with Baseball Factory for several years. He not only runs and coordinates Player Development events, but also helps to coordinate and run PREP & Tryout events in the southeast region. Rodney is a former Head Coach at William Byrd High School (Virginia) where he won a Rodney Spradlin State Championship in 1997. He currently serves as the Pitching Coach at William Byrd. In addition, Rodney has been the Head Coach in the Virginia Commonwealth Games for 20 years. He is also a former Associate Scout with the Kansas City Royals. He played his college ball at Carson Newman College in Jefferson City, TN.

Dan is the former Head Coach at Mars Hill College where he is the winningest coach in MHC history with 233 wins. Before MHC he was at Frederick Dan Taylor Community College where he was three time Region XX, Maryland JUCO, and Louisville Slugger Coach of the Year. He is currently the head coach at John Carroll Catholic HS in Fort Pierce, FL.

Brian pitched 4 seasons at the University of North Florida earning Academic All-American honors in 2 of those years. Following his stellar college career, Brian would go on to pitch 12 years in professional baseball, including nearly 3 seasons as a starting pitcher for the San Diego Padres. In his first week in Brian Tollberg the majors he was named the National League player of the week and would go on to lead the Padres in ERA that season. During his playing career, Brian played with a number of stars including Hall of Famers Tony Gwynn and Ricky Henderson as well as being part of a number of championship teams in the minors.

Dave is currently the Coordinator of Instruction in the Pittsburgh Pirates Organization. He was previously a coach at Boston College, Duke, Connecticut, and Dave Turgeon most recently Virginia Tech. Turgeon played professionally in the and Pirates organizations while also spending time in Mexico and Taiwan.
