SOFTBALL FACTORY CHRISTMAS CAMP & TOURNAMENT December 27 – 30, 2016 Historic Dodgertown- Southern Home of Softball Factory Vero Beach, FL The Softball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament gives players the opportunity to train with the best coaches in the nation, including former World Champion and Division I Coach, Lee Ann Jarvis . Players will be immersed in softball from morning till night at the former Spring Training Home of the Los Ang eles Dodgers. Our top-notch staff will work with each and every player to help them maximize their potential and raise their game to a new level ! Softball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament Benefits: Top notch coaching staff includes former college and professional players and former college coaches • Lea Ann Jarvis, the Senior Director of Softball Factory, will lead all training at the event. Lea Ann, one of the best catchers to ever grace the softball diamond, won two World Championships on the USA National Team in 1986 and 1990. • Kristina Hilberth-Wyatt Kristina played for the University of Florida from 2006-2009 and was inducted to the UF Hall of Fame in 2012 for her impact while a student-athlete. As a senior, Kristina was named the SEC Tournament MVP while also earning 1st team Academic All-America honors. Competitive game -play to help prepare for the spring season • Play a minimum of four games against other players your age from across the country. • Put the training you’ve learned from our experienced staff into live game situations. Four days of training with our professional staff • Receive instruction on hitting, pitching, defense and base running. • One-on-one and small group training will focus on improving each player’s confidence. Opportunity to train and compete at one of the best softball complexes in the country • Historic Dodgertown served as the Official Spring Training Home of the Los Angeles Dodgers before they moved west in 2008. • Historic Dodgertown is the Official Southern Home of Softball Factory. • Players will eat, sleep and train at this top-notch facility. Players will eat, sleep and play in the same facilities previously used for major leaguers and now with a brand new softball complex! Rate includes hot breakfast. Itinerary*: Dec. 27 Player Arrival (Between 8AM-11AM at Orlando Int’l Airport), Check-in, Player/Staff Introductions, Instruction, Dinner, Evening Workout. Dec. 28 – 29 Breakfast, Morning Instruction, Lunch, Afternoon Instruction and game situations, Dinner, Games, Seminar. Instruction stations focused on hitting, fielding, pitching, base running, and speed and strength training. Dec. 30 Breakfast, Games, Lunch, Departure (after 5PM at Orlando Int’l Airport). Coaches Scheduled Lea Ann Jarvis: current Senior Director of Softball Factory. Lea Ann won two World to Attend Include*: Championships with the USA National Team in 1986 and 1990. She coached at the Division I level for 17 years and was a two-time NCAA All-American while playing for Louisiana Tech. CJ Browder: CJ attended University of South Carolina Beaufort and in her first year led the team in numerous offensive categories including batting average, homeruns, RBI's and runs scored. She received the Sun Conference Player of the Year Award, 1st Team All- Conference, NAIA All American, NFCA All American and NFCA 1st Team All Region. CJ finished her playing career at Reinhardt University. Important Event ♦ Players will be greeted by Softball Factory representatives at baggage claim Info: ♦ Players are transported in charter buses/vans from site to site ♦ Players are fully supervised 24 hours a day ♦ Players will eat three sit down meals a day ♦ Players will receive a Softball Factory jersey in addition to Under Armour accessories ♦ No spending money needed ♦ Players will receive online access to Softball Factory’s Recruiting, Education and Development (R.E.D.)
