OTHER: In Partnership, the Village of Nobleford and Lethbridge County support the delivery of Volunteer emergency services in Nobleford and the County of Lethbridge. Nobleford Agricultural Society Box 154 Nobleford, AB T0L 1S0 Incorporated 1979 The Nobleford Agricultural Society has a very active and growing membership that is dedicated in supporting the agricultural community Centre OBJECTIVE: -The objective of the Nobleford Agriculture Society is to encourage improvement in agriculture, and in the quality of life of persons living in an agricultural community by developing programs and services based on the needs of the agricultural community. HISTORICAL ACTIVITES: -Operated and Managed the Nobleford Community Complex for over 28 years. -Organized and Coordinated the Horticultural Fair for the Nobleford Heritage Days for over 28 years. -Will continue to host the Annual Mothers Day Plant Sale and Harvest Supper. Also to show how the Noble Blade was manufactured. HISTORICAL ACTIVITIES: -Development of the blade park. -The Museum Society is proud of their efforts and hard work in the restoration and development of the original blade factory. Gathering for crafts, coffee, or playing pool are a few examples or the activities that go on regularly. GOALS: -To organize weekly social and recreational gatherings in Nobleford. HISTORICAL ACTIVITIES: -The Society’s first project was to construct a park between Barons Street and 10A Street in Nobleford. The park was opened August 5, 2011 and included a Water Spray Park, playground equipment, adult fitness equipment and a washroom/change room. In 2012 underground sprinklers, additional sod, trees, picnic tables and a basketball court/ skate rink was added. -In 2012 the Apollo playground equipment was added to Centennial Park. - In 2010 – 2015, horse rides have been provided at the annual Heritage Days Celebrations. HISTORICAL ACTIVITIES: -The Club leased water front property from AB Government on the North Shore of Keho lake “KEHOKIPA” and maintained this beach site and made it available to the public for the past 20 years at no charge. -The Club has hosted numerous provincial, national, and international windsurfing speed trials and is home to many individual sailor speed records of over 70 kmph by a wind powered sail. -The clubs hosts annual weekend activities at many southern Alberta lakes and organizes annual group trips to exotic tropical locations. Hopefully that experience will continue to be passed on. Golf to your capability
