THE LAND

The lands of Ha’well extend to 17.72 hectares (43.76 acres), divided into 6 fields, in two blocks.

The land is all classified as Region 1, which attracts a payment of 170.17 euros per unit under the Basic Payment Scheme, and 82 euros of Greening Payment per unit. The land may also be eligible for an LFAAS payment, subject to animal livestock units owned.

All fields have mains water supplied to troughs and all fences are in stock proof condition.

Field number 4 on the farm map, issued by the Rural Payments Agency, was reseeded in 2017, so has establised new grass.

Only ½ of field number 1 is ploughable, the other half being natural grass, but the whole field is classifed as region 1, as is the rest of the land.

Field 5 tends to be wetter land. This field has a livestock handling pen in one corner, which is accessed off the main road. The access is a “right-of-way” which will go with the sale of the land.
