All rights reserved. Preface In 2002, AREU released the first A to Z Guide to Afghanistan Assistance during a time of great change in Afghanistan. At that time, coordination mechanisms and aid processes were changing so fast that old hands and new arrivals alike were sometimes overwhelmed by the multiplicity of acronyms and references to structures and entities that had been recently created, abolished or re-named. Two years on, this, the third edition of the guide, is also coming out during a tremendous time of change in Afghanistan. For the first time in over two decades, the country is preparing for national elections, scheduled for autumn 2004 (presidential) and spring 2005 (parliamentary). Given the importance of the elections over the next six months, this edition includes a section focusing on elections that provides an overview of the election law, political parties, the timetable for elections, electoral districts and other critical information to assist you in understanding the political process. The elections section also includes a handy question and answer guide to the elections. Like the previous editions of the A to Z Guide, the purpose of this third edition is to provide a manual of the terms, structures, mechanisms and coordinating bodies critical to the Afghanistan relief and reconstruction effort to help ensure a shared vocabulary and common understanding of the forces at play. -

Afghanistan Statistical Yearbook 2020 Issue No: 42 | April 2021 Afghanistan Statistical Yearbook 2020 Issues No: 42 | First Version April 2021 Executive Summary It is a matter of great pleasure for National Statistics and Information Authority (NSIA) as the only official statistical body in the country to have been able to publish the statistical yearbook of 2020, according to its publication calendar by timely data collection. This statistical yearbook depicts the socio-economic condition of the country and also provides an easy access to a rich source of statistical information and data which helps the ministries, government organizations, NGOs and the private sector as well as international community to formulate policies, programs and make evidence based decision. The data and statistical information in the statistical yearbook have been collected from ministries, government organizations and private sector providing data on economic and social sectors like population, agriculture, education, health, national accounts, consumer price index, energy, construction, mines and energy, services, foreign trade, finance, statistics and foreign aids which can be used by the planners and data users for better and evidence based planning. The Afghanistan’s population is estimated to be 32.9 million for 2020-2021 based on the population statistics department of NSIA. The men and women make up 16.8 million and 16.1million of the total population respectively. Based on the estimated population Graphs the urban population is 8.0 million while the rural population is 23.4 million and the remain 1.5 million is Kochi (Nomadic). The age dependent population is 12.0 million while 11.1 million population of the country is under 15 years of age and 0.9 million is above 64 years old. -

According to MoHE (2010) it is stated that, since last decade we have great ICT achievements in higher education, the internal donor and government of Afghanistan have special consideration in ICT sector in higher education to bring many changes in educational system as well as the quality of teaching and learning in higher education in Afghanistan. This paper is prepared on the impact of information and communication technology on higher education in Afghanistan. Information and communication technology is dramatically expanding all over the world. This has significance result to education sector and extension of educational opportunities, for the people all over the world. As well as I will look for the impact of ICT on higher education and how ICT plays a typical role on higher education in Afghanistan. ICT is the only source which improves the exchange of electronic communication and help to dynamic the education institution system, which will help in fast transaction of information, document delivery, document process and hindering corruption in higher education. -

During Covid- Accepted : 8 March 2021 19 lockdown, while presential learning stopped and E-learning started. The Ministry of Higher Education has begun E-learning in public and private universities. Therefore, KEYWORDS Afghanistan’s universities used Cloud-based Apps in E-learning, but these Apps are not identifying and ranking in the E-learning of Afghanistan. This study aims to identify and E-learning rank the Cloud-based Apps in terms of usefulness and effectiveness in E-learning using Cloud-based Application state-of-the-art, and its usage in public universities of Afghanistan. To get an accurate Moodle answer to the defined questions, mixed research was used. Therefore, an online E-learning in Afghanistan questionnaire was distributed randomly to six public universities in six different parts of Google Classroom Afghanistan. The respondents were divided into two categories (lecturers and students) and asked to respond to Cloud-based Apps usage and effectiveness in E-learning.
