APPLICATION FEE R 800 This is payable on submission of an application form for a place in the School. It is non-refundable. FOREIGN STUDENT LEVY R 800 Payable upon receipt of Letter of Offer and thereafter annually. REGISTRATION FEE R 5 500 This is payable as per the Letter of Offer. It is non-refundable and is applicable to children enrolling in Early Years 1 through to High School. DEPOSIT R 20 000 (South African Students) 000 (Foreign Students) The Deposit is payable as per the Letter of Offer. This Deposit to IES International Hout Bay School (Pty) Ltd, shall be unsecured and interest free. An amount of R1,000-00 Development Levy will be deducted per annum from the Deposit held by the School. The Deposit will not be applicable for Nursery years but will become payable at the start of Early Years 1 and onward, whichever entry year thereafter is applicable. In the case of a notice letter, provided one full term’s notice has been given in writing to the school, the remaining deposit is refunded within 90 days.

TUITION FEES:

1. Payments of Tuition Fees are per Term (x 4 terms per academic year starting in January of each year) payable before the first day of each term. 2. Fees paid annually will receive a 4.5% reduction if paid into the School’s FNB Bank account by 20th January 2020. 3. Fees paid monthly (by prior special arrangement only) are as per the Tuition Fee Structure above. Monthly fees are due on the 1st day of each month. 4. Second and third younger siblings receive a fee reduction of 10% per child. The fourth youngest sibling will receive a 30% fee reduction. 5. A full term’s notice of intent to leave the school, in writing, is required. If this has not been given, fees in lieu of notice, means fees in full (at the rate applicable) will be charged.

LUNCH FEES:

1. Orders and payments of Lunch Fees are payable by the deadline given on the Quicket Online Service. Parents will receive the link for orders and payments timeously.

ADDITIONAL COSTS:

The following costs are not included in the current School Fee Structure and remain the responsibility of Parents/Guardians: 1. School Trips All school camps, fieldtrips, residential visits, tours, exchanges and excursions, etc. 2. Extra-Curricular Activities  All equipment, clothing and specific sporting requirements.  Some Extra-Curricular Activities provided in the programme make use of outside specialists and additional transport. 3. Stationery All required student stationery as specified by the School, including all art/drama supplies. 4. International Examination Costs IGCSE and IBDP students writing the external Cambridge and International Baccalaureate (IB) Examinations at the end of their second year, respectfully, will be required to pay an additional Examination Fee as set down by Cambridge University and the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) and will vary, depending upon;  the number of subjects in which enrolled  the levels for each paper the student is writing, including the practical components required (art, drama, etc.)  the postage and administration costs for examination postage on return of examination artworks  the currency exchange rate at the time of writing these examinations 5. Technology  High School students are required to have their own laptop  PYP6 students must have access to a device during the course of their year especially in Term 4 6. Textbooks/Set Works  High School Text books are not included in the School fees and must be purchased before school commences, either online or via School’s text book supplier  Primary School consumable workbooks are not included in the School fees – parents/guardians will be billed at the start of the year as the school will pre-order these for students.
