Founded in 1987, their vineyards are comprised of 14 wines in the product line with varying Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. This is a short, 16 minute drive. Tour Length: Apx. 1 hr Thursday, April 5 at 2pm Cost: $10 x Number of tickets _______ = $________ OPERATION GRATITUDE Will you be coming to the conference on Thursday evening and looking for something to do? We will be making emergency rope bracelets for our military. These are created from lengths of parachute cord, and can be worn as a bracelet, so the soldier will always have a length of rope available to him in an emergency. This activity will take place just outside of the hospitality room, and is free of charge. Please help us make this a success! Apx. 1-2 hrs Thursday, April 5 at 7:30pm FREE Number of persons ___________ FORT MILES TOUR Fort Miles was a key piece in the nation’s coastal defense during World War II. In April 2005, the Fort Miles Historic Area was added to the National Register of historic places. The tour includes the restored barracks, artillery gun park, Battery 519, and the World War II Fire Control Tower. Please be advised there is walking involved in the tour. Wheelchairs and golf carts are available if needed (must know in advance). The tour fee includes entrance to the park. A minimum of 15 people is required for the tour. Tour Length: Apx. 1 hr Friday, April 6 at 1:00pm Cost: $6 x Number of tickets ____ = $_________ BREWERY TOUR Dogfish Head Craft Brewery in Milton, Delaware, open since 1995, is more than just a brewery. They have expanded to include a distilling program with the launch of their 100% scratch-made spirits line. As they say, “Experience Goodness, from Grain to Glass!” This tour includes approximately 60 minutes of walking with stairs along the way. You will need close-toed shoes and long pants for the tour. The Tasting Room area is entirely handicap accessible. Growlers are available for purchase and fill, but they are 'to go' only. They fill 32oz. & 64oz. growlers, any brand welcome! Along the tour… • Cold Storage - breathe in the delicious smells in the huge refrigerator that stores all the REAL ingredients that go into our beers (it's cold in there, so it's brief!) • Grain Handling Room - see what sets our grains apart from the rest • 200 BBL Brewhouse - see how we convert all that delicious starchy grain into wort • Palo & Oak Wood-Aging Room - normally locked, we'll stop in here and learn about fermentation & wood aging beer. Sample the freshest 60 Minute you've ever had and try some Palo Santo Marron, a wood-aged beer • Distillery - enjoy a keg-conditioned cocktail in our new distillery, get a primer on distillation and learn how we distill our beers into our new lineup of scratch-made spirits • Sam’s Stash - sample one of our vintage beers in the cage where Sam stores beers for aging...anywhere from 3- 5 years! • Steampunk Treehouse - ever wonder what's in that treehouse? Check it out! Tour is limited to 20 persons. In addition to the beer + cocktails, you'll walk away with some rad swag including a Dogfish Head pint glass & shot glass. Tour Length: Apx. 1 hr Friday, April 6 at 12:45pm & 2:15pm Cost: $40 x Number of tickets ___ = $________ LEWES LEGENDS TOUR This is a 90 minute, 3 block walking tour that travels through St. Peter’s Cemetery, as well as the Ryves Holt House (oldest house in DE) and the Cannonball House Maritime Museum (one of the most haunted locations in DE). A minimum of 15 people is required for the tour. Flashlights are recommended.
