Local officials are expected to release the in-depth analysis during a press confer ence at town hall tomorrow at noon. Among the recommendations made by the accounting firm are a 10 percent reduc tion in force, hiring more civilians and eliminating the position of captain entirely, according to the study. However, local officials have stressed that no decision has been reached about the department’s future. A Scot, he became a British military officer and Colonial Governor of both New York and New Jersey from 1710-1720. He completed his ca- reer as Governor of Jamaica, where he died. -
