B) Forma de prestació Actualment existeixen 5 rutes amb els horaris següents: Gòtic - De dilluns a diumenge, a les 9.30 hores en anglès. - Dissabte, a les 11.30 hores en català/castellà (si tot el grup és de parla catalana es farà en català, si hi ha algú que no entén el català, es realitzarà en castellà). Es presta servei tot l’any excepte els dies 1/1, 6/1, 25/12 i 26/12. A més, es presta servei extraordinari en català/castellà (a les 11.30 hores) i francès (a les 9.30 hores) els dies festius i/o ponts que se celebren arreu de Catalunya, a l’Estat espanyol i a França. Per al 2012, les sessions extraordinàries en català/castellà previstes són les següents: 6/4; 30/4; 12/10; 1/11; 2/11; 6/12 i 7/12. Al llarg de la història les ciutats han delimitat el seu perímetre amb construccions que definien allò que quedava dins la ciutat i allò que hi quedava fora; aquestes construccions pràcticament sempre eren muralles o fossars, així com elements naturals com rius, muntanyes o penya-segats. Si mirem a ull d’ocell els límits de la Barcelona actual ens adonarem que avui en dia aquesta forma de delimitar encara es vigent. A la Figura 1 observem que les actuals Rondes de Dalt i del Litoral, actuen per senyalitzar els límits de la ciutat creant una forma de fossar entre la ciutat i el mar, els rius Llobregat i Besos i el Collserola. Poblet Monastery cloister garden on the Al-Andalus border: aims and meaning of the restoration work Josep M. Mallarach1 Introduction The royal monastery of Santa Maria of Poblet, the largest monastic complex in Western Europe, was the burial site of the kings of the Crown of Aragon during the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries. It is one of the most important monasteries in the Roman Catholic Church and is today inhabited and run by the same monastic order that founded it nine centuries ago. Its name derives from the Latin populetum for white poplar (Populus alba), a tree that grows abundantly along the rivers and streams of the area and whose white bark symbolizes the white habits of the Cistercian monks. The monastery, located at 500 m a.s.l. in the piedmont of the Serra de Prades, forms part of a Natural Site of National Interest created by the Catalan Government in 1984 to protect the landscape around the monastery, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1991.
