City Presents at International
Conference on PB
The waterfront property is located on North Mare Island, which offers 157 acres with entitlements for over a million square feet of light industrial, office, and commercial use. With the shipyard closing in 1997, the City Council meeting is an important turning point for Mare Island as well as the City.
The ERN agreement sets the timeline and terms for negotiations between the City and Faraday Future toward the sale and project approval of the 157 acres. The ERN will also set a six-month negotiation period with two potential 90-day extensions.

The green and purple colors add the final touch to the 3,200 foot steel track, representing one of DC's most infamous villains. This new attraction joins other roller coasters at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, such as SUPERMAN Ultimate Flight, Medusa, Kong, Roar, and V2 (Vertical Velocity). Season Pass holders will be able to ride The Joker on Friday, May 27 and Saturday, May 28. The Joker will be open to the public on Sunday, May 29.
In addition to presenting, Ms. Alford attended several conference sessions emphasizing that PB should be seen as tools for engagement and civic empowerment, rather than a stand-alone program.
