JOSEP FRANCESC PALOU flute JOSEP FRANCESC PALOU was born in Arta, Mallorca. It was formed in Barcelona with CLAUDI ARIMANY and in Paris with RAYMOND GUIOT and ALAIN MARION. He has also received advice from J.P. RAMPAL, M. LARRIEU, J.GUILLEM and M. MARTINEZ. He has performed in many countries such as France, Germany, Norway, Italy, Slovenia, Czech Republic, United States and Russia. He has performed as a soloist, Mozart, Bach, Jolivet, Rodrigo, Reinecke, Ibert, Vivaldi, Cimarosa, Quantz .... with the orchestras Franz Liszt from Budapest, Soloists of the Berlin Philharmonic, the Moscow Kremlin Orchestra , Balearic Symphony Orchestra, Collegium Instrumentale of Valencia, Andres Segovia Orchestra, Moscow Chamber Orchestra, Hongarian Viortuosi, Czech Bohemian Orchestra and I Musici di Vivaldi, among others. He has performed with J. P. RAMPAL, M. LARRIEU, C. ARIMANY, J. L.BEAUMADIER, T.INDERMÜLHE, J. GUILLEM, Ph. BENDER, J. ROLLA, S. BROTONS, E. M. LEFT, M.GALDUF, V. BALAGUER, E.PALOMARES, A. RIERA and I. JAGLA among others. The recording of flute concertos and two flutes unpublished by JJ Quantz with the orchestra HUNGARIAN VIRTUOSI (Columna) with unanimous critical success, was elected DISCOVERY OF THE MONTH in the prestigious British magazine uk.net. Recently published double CD Syrinx (Cas Músic) with Miquel Mestre and Andreu, Riera which gathers stories about birds by Avelino Hernandez writer and flute music of composers Messiaen, Debussy, Blanquer, Albéniz, Rimsky Korsakov ... He has also recorded chamber music about the Balearic composer Josep Prohens (Ona Digital) whose music and its interpretation gathered rave reviews from the specialized music magazine (La Vanguardia) He has premiered, performed and recorded works by leading composers of the Balearic Islands as Josep Prohens, X. Carbonell, C. Rafael Fernández-Vidal and Cavestany, among others. Currently he is professor of flute at the Conservatory Superior of the Balearic Islands and Musical Director at the Classical Music Festival Antoni Lliteres of Arta (Mallorca). .
