Es bildet das ab, was man „spezialisierte Vielfalt“ nennen kann und womit wir einen unverwechselbaren künstlerischen Beitrag für unsere Reg ion und darüber hinaus leisten wollen. Dafür brauchen wir Sie: ein Publikum, das sich für individuell interpretierte Meisterwerke eben- so interessiert wie für Unbekanntes, das als Meisterwerk erst noch entdeckt werden will. Überstrahlt wird unsere Saison vom 50-jährigen Jubiläum der Inhalt Gründung des Kammerchors Stuttgart, das wir in diesem Herbst mit zwei ganz unterschiedlichen Programmen feiern wollen: zum einen mit Aufführungen und einer Aufnahme der Missa solemnis von Beethoven, zum anderen einem A-cappella-Programm des 4 50 Jahre Kammerchor Stuttgart Kammerchors, das am 4. November in Zusammenarbeit mit der Jubiläumskonzerte „Akademie für Gesprochenes Wort/Uta Kutter Stiftung“ auch das Ende des ersten Weltkriegs 1918 vor 100 Jahren sowie die Pogrom- 8 Konzerte in Stuttgart und Region nacht 1938 künstlerisch reflektieren will. 18 Konzertkalender Immer wieder ist der Kammerchor Stuttgart zu einem Format für 12 und 16 Solostimmen zurückgekehrt, das auch in der kommenden 20 Musik Podium Stuttgart und seine Ensembles Saison sein Repertoire erweitert und besonders die klassische Mo- 22 Freundeskreis derne einschließt. Today’s press conference in the Red Hall at Ljubljana Town Hall served to present this year’s 67th Ljubljana Festival, which will run from July until September. Once again the festival will feature ballet and opera performances, musicals, chamber and symphonic concerts, the International Fine Arts Colony, workshops for children and young people, the Ljubljana Festival on the Ljubljanica, and much more. Even before the official start of the festival, you will have the unique opportunity to hear Verdi’s Requiem conducted by the great Plácido Domingo, in his first appearance as a conductor in Slovenia. This pre-festival event will be followed at beginning of July by the most eagerly awaited cultural event of the year: the opening of the 67th Ljubljana Festival, which gets under way with Aida, one of the best known and most frequently performed operas not only of Verdi's oeuvre, but in the entire history of opera. Director Dražen Siriščević’s imaginative staging will make the most of the outdoor setting and the opera will include an appearance by thoroughbred Lipizzaner horses from the stud farm in Lipica. By creating these festivals the ensemble has full artistic liberty: it improvised with DJ's, created multimedia shows with VJ's from Japan and Romania and developed literary soirées on love, Paul Wittgenstein and Bulgakow's Master CANTI DRAMMATICI RARO and Margarita with the actor Karl Markovics and the writer Lea Singer. Ensemble Raro is actively involved in performing contemporary chamber music repertoire. They gave a British and German premieres of Peteris Vasks's Piano Quartet. Their performances of Walter Braunfels' and George THE SEASONS Enescu's works in Pelerinages series in Munchen received a high critical acclaim. Ensemble Raro's partners in various chamber music formations included Daishin Kashimoto, Konstantin Lifschitz, Adrian Brendel, Claudio Bohorquez, Baiba Skride, Carolin Widmann, Alina Pogostkina, Marlis Petersen, Mark Padmore and other celebrated musicians. The Ensemble recently performed in the Boswil Summer Festival (Switzerland), St.Gallen Festival and Gmunden Festspiele (Austria), Riga Chamber Music Days (Latvia), Schloss Elmau and Schloss Filseck (Germany) and in Music at Plush Festival (UK). -

GLI INTERPRETI DELLA XXXIV STAGIONE 2018 DEL CIRCOLO DELLA MUSICA IVAN DONCHEV è stato definito da Aldo Ciccolini “artista di eccezionali qualità tecniche e musicali” e dalla critica internazionale come “raffinato e concentrato” (“Qobuz Magazine”, Francia), “pieno di temperamento” (“Darmstadter Echo”, Germania), dotato di “tecnica impeccabile e incredibile capacità di emozionare” (“Il Cittadino”, Italia). Nasce nella città di Burgas (Bulgaria) nel 1981. Intraprende lo studio del pianoforte all’età di cinque anni, dopo tre anni tiene il suo primo recital solistico e vince il secondo premio al Concorso Internazionale “Città di Stresa”. A dodici anni debutta con l’Orchestra Filarmonica di Burgas eseguendo il Concerto in re maggiore di Haydn. Per meriti artistici nel 1997 gli viene assegnato il premio “Talento dell’anno” di Burgas. Vincitore di 19 premi in concorsi nazionali e internazionali fra cui “Svetoslav Obretenov” ; (Bulgaria,1994) ; “EMCY” (Dublino, 1996), Carl Filtsch (Romania, 1997), "Città di Monopoli –Gran Prize Ecomusic, 2000” , "S.Fiorentino", (Morcone, 2004) ; "G. Terracciano", 2005 , "Società Umanitaria" , (Milano, 2008) . A soli 16 anni vince il“Premio Chopin” della Società “Chopin” di Darmstadt e debutta alla nota sala “Gasteig” di Monaco di Baviera. Da allora è regolarmente invitato a suonare nelle maggiori città europee, negli Stati Uniti, Giappone e Corea del Sud.
