The principal objectives are fostering youth participation in the public life of local communities, establishing a deep dialogue between cultural back grounds extremely different, using Internet and new technologies as privileged language of European youth. Concretely, it will be organised a permanent audiovisual laboratories which will follow all the activities and cultural visits of the groups, in order to produce a video, a travel journal and a pictures reportage that will be exploited to promote and foster intercultural exchanges and Youth in Action programs among the local institutions and communities.

    THE LASCIVIE: AGOSTINO CARRACCI’S EROTIC PRINTS AS THE SOURCES FOR THE FARNESE GALLERY VAULT by WAVERLEY WREN EUBANKS (Under the Direction of Shelley E. Zuraw) ABSTRACT Agostino Carracci (1557-1602) has long been extolled as one of Italy’s most skilled engravers, primarily in regard to his refined reproductive prints after Italian master paintings. The present study, however, pertains to prints after Agostino’s own designs—the erotic series known as the Lascivie (c. 1590-1595). These sensual prints, often overlooked, embody the principles of the artistic reform effectuated by Agostino, his brother Annibale (1560-1609), and their cousin Ludovico (1555-1619) in their native Bologna soon after the Counter-Reformation. The Lascivie, as will be argued, are the antecedents to what is considered the pinnacle of the Carracci’s oeuvre and their reformed style, namely, the fresco cycle adorning the Farnese Gallery vault in Rome, an achievement traditionally credited to Annibale. It is Agostino’s erudition and the artistic method he employed in composing the Lascivie, however, that reveal him to be the likelier mastermind behind the complex conceits of the Farnese Gallery, and even the generator of the precepts of the Carracci’s reformed style. The objective of this action is to enable adult learners to participate in Workshops (learning events and seminars) taking place in another European country participating in the Lifelong Learning Programme. This is a form of individual mobility offered to adult learners in the Lifelong Learning Programme. The Grundtvig Workshops bring together individuals or small groups of learners from several countries for a multinational learning experience relevant for their personal development and learning needs. A minimum of 10 up to a maximum of 20 learners in total from countries other than that in which the Workshop is being organised, can be funded. Workshops will last a minimum of 5 days (excluding travel), up to maximum 10 days and take place between 1/9/2012 and 31/8/2013. The Workshop Organiser is responsible for organising the Workshop, its advertisement, the recruitment of learners, their travel and appropriate board and lodging. PROFILE OF THE LEARNERS The Workshops are open to any adult citizen; however, particular attention is given to including people from vulnerable social groups and in marginal contexts, in particular older people and those who have left education without basic qualifications, in order to give these disadvantaged social groups alternative opportunities to access adult education. The action is open to any adult person who is a national of or permanently residing (or registered as refugee or asylum-seeker) in one of the Programme countries, namely: the 27 Member States of the European 1 Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland (EFTA-EEA countries), Croatia and Turkey (candidate countries).
