Dates: April 7 -17, 2022
Included: ● 8 nights’ accommodation at a mix of Riads, Hotels, double occupancy, as detailed in itinerary. ● 1 night in tents in the desert. ● Overnight train Tangier-Marrakech, with 2 passengers per cabin. ● 1 English-speaking Moroccan guide throughout the tour. ● 11 days of private transportation in deluxe bus with AC, including 1 group arrival and 1 departure airport transfers ● Meals as listed in the itinerary in “meals included” section: 10 breakfasts, 3 dinners, 1 lunch. ● Water Bottles during meals and on bus daily ● Entrances, sites, and activities described in the itinerary, including honorariums for speakers as available. ● Customary tips for driver, guide, and hotel staff ● Dedicated pre-trip traveler services and on-ground support

Day 1: Thr, April 7 ● Meet at Rabat airport and transfer to City Center ● Sightseeing: Mohamed V Mausoleum, Hassan Tower, Royal Palace (outside). As arrival time and energy permit, Chellah and/or Oudaiah Kasbah. ● Welcome Dinner (included).
Meals Included: Dinner. Hotel: Bouregrague Hotel or similar.
Day 2: Fri, Apr 8 ● Breakfast at hotel. ● Depart for Meknes. ● Sightseeing in Medina: Bab Mansour and Place Hadim; visit traditional workshops to see artisans at work. ● In the afternoon, depart for Fes ● Check into Riad. Meet members of Mimouna Foundation (Muslims who educate Muslims about Judaism and work on interfaith endeavors) ● Shabbat dinner and cultural program (with local community members and/or Mimouna Foundation members, as available)

Day 3: Sat, Apr 9 ● Breakfast at hotel ● Fes sightseeing: Medina; Mellah (Jewish quarter). ● Afternoon/evening: Program on Amazigh culture (with home hospitality as available); Sufism chant/dance session.

Day 4: Sun, Apr 10 ● Breakfast at hotel. ● More sightseeing in Fes (Artisans, new city) ● Depart for Chefchaouen ● Arrival to Chaouen. Tour of city. ● Evening: free time. No dinner arrangement. Meals Included: Breakfast. Overnight: Atlas Hotel or similar, Chefchaouen
Day 5: Mon, Apr 11 ● Breakfast at hotel. ● Cooking class followed by lunch. ● Departure for Tangier ● Arrival in Tangier. Tour of the city. Check into hotel.

Day 6: Tue, Apr 12 ● Day in Tangier: Sightseeing; Hercules Cave, Petit Socco, Cap Spartel. . ● Meet with musicians as available. ● Transfer to Tangier train station ● Depart for Marrakech by train.

Day 7: Wed, Apr 13 ● Arrive in Marrakech; meet bus driver and transfer to Café for breakfast ● Day in Marrakesh: Menara Gardens, Bahia Palace, Kutubiyya Mosque, Medina, Amazigh pharmacy, Djama al Fnaa. ● Accommodation at Riad in Marrakech

Day 8: Thr, Apr 14 ● Breakfast at hotel ● Mellah; meet head of Jewish community and/or other resource person ● Transfer to Agafay desert by 4WD. ● Arrival, check into camp. ● Camel riding tour. ● Dinner in camp with show
