Therefore, a new optical multispectral Sentinel-2 data were used to build a long term LAI time series for the area of the Erfoud and Rissani oases, Errachidia province in Drâa-Tafilalet region in Morocco.

Keep your eyes open for the Berber villages tucked away in the mountainside. You will enjoy the picturesque Todra River Valley and see hundreds of kasbahs, as you continue your journey towards the final destination for today, the magnificent, colossal Todra Gorges (600 feet). Dinner will be served at the hotel in Tingher, the Kasbah Lamrani or Kenzi Sargho Sept 20 Day 2 Todra Gorges/ Erfoud / Sahara Desert (B, D) After breakfast you will leave for Erfoud, a small town on the edge of the Sahara Desert. Upon arrival in Erfoud, you may visit the little town, which will provide insight into the desert way of life. An optional visit to the fossil factory is an excellent choice. In the afternoon, you will set out across the barren desert land in your 4 wheeled drive vehicle. You will set off by camel for a 2-hour trek out to the oasis where you will spend the night in Berber tents (Dinner is included). ***this could be optional if you would prefer to return to enjoy the dunes nearby and return to the hotel to sleep*** Dunes D’Or Sept 21 Day 3 Sahara Desert / Ouarzazate (B, D) After breakfast you will return by 4x4 to Erfoud and start you journey back towards Marrakech.
