A focus on excellent quality at the heart of Sennheiser’s heritage To meet customers’ high expectations of the Sennheiser brand and to comply with its own exacting standards, Sennheiser has always placed a very high priority on product quality. Nearly 250 employees at R&D locations in Germany, Denmark, the USA and Singapore, as well as quality planners and system testers located at the company’s head office ensure excellent quality during all development and production stages. Sennheiser headphones are manufactured using only the best materials, such as the stainless steel and leather used in the over- ear version of the MOMENTUM. Before products are brought to market, they are subject to a range of tests including drop tests and bending tests. By checking all product components, Sennheiser not only ensures compliance with international standards, but also fulfils its own far more exacting quality benchmarks. Wolfgang Tschee, Manager Quality Laboratories at Sennheiser, comments: “Every test we carry out on our headphones ensures that we maintain these high standards: to only bring products to market which stand for extraordinary sound and product quality in their respective segments.” By setting up Europe’s biggest SOUNDCHECK 2013, Sennheiser is letting everyone try out its MOMENTUM headphones and hear for themselves.
