Remembrance Day

For Remembrance Day, Uffculme School students marked the occasion with a poetry reading from our Head Boy and Girl, followed by a wonderful student performance of The Last Post and a ceremony of lowering and raising the School flag. Students who are part of a uniformed group were encouraged to wear their uniforms on this day and all students had been enthusiastically wearing their poppies and respectfully participated in the commemorative silence.

End of School Day Collection of Children Arrangements

If you routinely pick your children up after school, please note that we are making a slight change in arrangements to ensure that pupils are safe and supervised whilst they wait. In future, students will be asked to wait in the library if they are being collected after 3.50pm. This is a warm, supervised area, where they can study quietly and get homework done. Upon arrival at the school, you can either ring them if they have a mobile phone and ask them to come out to the car, or you can come to the front of the school and ask reception to get a message to them. Thank you for your support with this.
