De- veloping from many years’ experience the Group can offer its customers customised efficient solutions for airfreight services, aircraft maintenance, airworthiness services and aircraft leasing. West Atlantic’s pri- mary market is to provide scheduled airlift capacity to National Mail Organisations and Global Integrators in Europe. In 2016 West Atlantic performed over 23,000 flights while serving approximately 50 scheduled destinations.     AVIATIONTRENDS STATISTICS, ANALYSIS AND INFORMATION FROM THE SWEDISH TRANSPORT AGENCY 2010 FACTS 25.5 million passengers using scheduled and charter traffic at Swedish airports, 9.3 per cent (equivalent to 2.6 million passengers) fewer than in the previous year. 19.46 million international passengers – a decrease of 9 per cent. 5.99 million domestic passengers – a decrease of 11 per cent. The average passenger load factor reached 69.9 per cent in 2009, 1.7 percentage points more than in 2008. Total air freight to and from Swedish airports in 2009 was just over 141,100 tonnes, 24 per cent less than in 2008. International freight decreased by 23 per cent to 139,700 tonnes. Domestic freight, which accounted for 1 per cent of the total freight volume, decreased by about 63 per cent. There were 372,400 landings in 2009 − over 20,500 fewer than in 2008, and representing a decrease of 5.2 per cent. There were 235,091 scheduled and non-scheduled traffic landings, 8.4 per cent fewer than in 2008. Stockholm-Arlanda handled 16.04 million passengers, 11 per cent fewer than in 2008. In absolute terms the increase was greatest at Stockholm-Bromma, which had 150,000 more passengers in 2009. In 2009 there was scheduled and non-scheduled commercial traffic from 41 airports in Sweden. The purpose with a TPM is to ease the workload for the maintenance organization and to minimize the occurrence of human errors in the maintenance organization system software. Until today West Air Sweden has had an absence of documented procedures of the administrative chores within Part-M and Technical Records. West Air Sweden desires a manual consisting of clear directives and working procedures in the maintenance computer system. The computer system is new to West Air Sweden, since the maintenance organization took a large step forward by switching maintenance system software from the; Integrated Aviation Software (IAS) to; Rusada Envision (RAL). This conversion of maintenance system software has increased the necessity of a TPM within the West Air Sweden maintenance organization. It was necessary to gain self-experience within the system in order to chart out the structure and foundation of a TPM suitable to West Air Sweden. Interviews and meetings with other modules within the company such as Stores, Logistics, Engineering, IT, Economy and Flight Operations was held to predict and complete the outlook of a reasonable TPM. The predicted outline of the TPM was fulfilled and the result was satisfactory in accordance with the requirements of West Air Sweden.

    News Release Wednesday 29 October 2008 SWEDEN’S WEST AIR EUROPE AND UK’s ATLANTIC AIRLINES WILL MERGE TO FORM EUROPE’S LARGEST REGIONAL AIR CARGO CARRIER West Air Europe of Gothenburg (Sweden) and Atlantic Airlines of Coventry (UK) – two of Europe’s most experienced regional air cargo airlines – are to merge to form West Atlantic, creating Europe’s largest all cargo regional carrier. The owners of both privately-owned companies will exchange shareholdings to create the new entity, which will have its administrative headquarters in Gothenburg. West Atlantic will have a combined annual turnover of some €125 million, will employ some 500 people, and have a fleet of 41 BAE Systems 8-tonne ATP Freighters, one ATR-72 also of 8-tonne capacity, six 15-tonne Lockheed Electra and two 7-tonne capacity Bombardier CRJ200PF. The board of West Atlantic consists of: Chairman Göran Berglund Chief Executive Officer Gustaf Thureborn Managing Director Tony Auld Sales & Operations Director Russell Ladkin Non-Executive Director Jörgen Arnemar Atlantic Airlines, West Air Sweden and West Air Luxembourg of the West Air Europe holding company will continue to trade separately as at present, although under the merged ownership certain key services such as maintenance will be organised centrally. The airlines are independently very solid and although operating exclusively in the European feeder air cargo sector, they are nevertheless very complementary. The West Air Europe airlines are very strong in the Scandinavian postal markets, whilst Atlantic Airlines matches this strength in the UK postal sector and the containerised conveyance of cargo. Both sets of airlines already work extensively for the Integrator & Express sector, but with different customers.
