Message From The President The beginning of the summer is a time to recharge our batteries and prepare for a fresh beginning when we return in September. It’s a time to look back at our accomplishments and the success we’ve enjoyed. Here’s a few of the successes. The chapter received a donation of books that belonged to Civil War General Robert Hall. We raised $635 from the sale of these books while at the same time ensuring that the books went to members of our chapter. Our Fife and Drum Corps led the official color guard procession at Massing of the Colors. Alexander Hamilton was also the host chapter for the 2019 state conference. The color guard has participated in parades and presentations. We’ve had some great presentations at our chapter meetings while sharing in camaraderie with one another. Looking ahead we are in the planning phase of redesigning the American Revolution Exhibit at the Veteran’s Museum in Chehalis. We’ve had some achievements, but we have more to come. Take the summer for some R&R. We’ll hit the ground running in September. See you then!
