Regional trains run from the airport to Copenhagen Central Station every 10-20 minutes during the day. Metro trains run from the airport to Nørreport station and continue to Forum and Frederiksberg stations. Bus 6A is particularly useful, as it links many of the hotels, the Imperial Cinema and the Panum Institute. Nørreport station is a very useful interchange, where S-trains, regional trains, busses and Metro all converge. Tickets for public transport are valid on all forms of transport (except taxis). All delegates (but not accompanying persons) will get a 10- ride “klippekort” for transport in the central Copenhagen region. Each time you put the card into a clipping machine (on train/Metro platfdorms, or near the entrance of busses), you can ride anywhere in the central Copenhagen region for one hour. Getting to and around the congress venue Imperial Cinema The presidential welcome and the keynote address on Monday August 9 will be held at the Imperial Cinema, Ved Vesterport 4. (see map of Copenhagen page 10). The Imperial cinema is located adjacent to Vesterport S-train Station, which can be reached by bus lines 5A, 6A, 12, 14, 15, 29, 30, 40, 47, 66, 67 and 68 as well. It is also within walking distance of many of the Congress hotels. The Panum Institute The Panum Institute, Blegdamsvej 3, DK-2200 Copenhagen N, houses the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Copenhagen. It is located close to central Copenhagen on the border between the Nørrebro and Østerbro districts, and is within walking distance (15-20 min) of Nørreport Station, from where there are also bus links (bus no. 6A, 42, 43, 150S, 184 and 185). Buses stop at “Blegdamsvej/Rigshospital”, opposite the Panum institute. To make your way into the building, walk down Blegdamsvej, and follow the signs to the main entrance (“Hovedindgang”). Once inside, make your way up the spiral staircase (or take the lift one floor) where you’ll find the registration desk. .

    D1d E-USE(aq) Technical performance & monitoring report Danish pilot 1 Summary Danish Pilot in Birkerød The site Hammerbakken 10 in Birkerød, Denmark is highly polluted with chlorinated solvents, especially TCE is a dominant contaminant. In laboratory studies by Environmental Technology Wageningen University it was shown that biodegradation of chlorinated solvents could be stimulated at low redox conditions at elevated temperatures like in ATES systems. The hot spot contaminated site at Hammerbakken 10 was selected by the Capital Region of Denmark (CRD) to demonstrate the stimulation of biodegradation of chlorinated solvents at pilot scale. The pilot was realized by the end of December 2017 and monitored thereafter in 2018. The ATES recirculation systems showed to operate as expected, whereas biodegradation was not stimulated in the first 6 months, as the redox was too oxic to allow biodegradation of chlorinated solvents. In June, electron donor was added to lower the redox. After July the first reductive dechlorination was monitored up to 30% dechlorination. However only DCE was formed and no significant other products as VC and finally ethene were formed. In early November a DHC culture was added, which readily resulted in a high dechlorination degree of already about 78% in monitoring well 1 within 2 weeks. Until March 2019 the wells will be further monitored for the reductive dechlorination of chlorinated solvent (mainly TCE). From the pilot experiment in 2018 it can be concluded that the ATES system as such functioned well without clogging by the presence of measurable oxygen concentrations in the first half year of operation. The applied ATES system showed to be fit to stimulate biodegradation of chlorinated solvents at optimized conditions like addition of electron donor and addition of a specific dechlorinating culture.

    VENUE AND ACCESS 1.1 ADDRESS AND LOCATION The venue, Bella Center, is among Europe’s leading fair and conference centres and offers excellent transport connections. The Bella Center seeks to ensure that its development is sustainable with as little environmental impact as possible and that its consumption of resources is kept to a minimum. Further information about the Bella Center can be found at www.bellacenter.dk Venue address: Bella Center Center Boulevard 5 DK-2300 Copenhagen S Denmark Check here the Google Map with the venue location. 1.2 HOW TO REACH BELLA CENTER FROM THE AIRPORT By Air The Bella Center is just a 10-minute taxi drive from Copenhagen Airport. A regional train runs from the airport to Orestad Station. From there, you can travel to the Bella Center station (1 stop on line M1), which is located next to the Bella Center’s east entrance. The journey takes 10 minutes and costs approximately DKK 150-200 (€ 20-27). Airport shuttle Bella Center shuttle service operates from 6am to 11pm and runs between Copenhagen Airport and the two hotels, AC Hotel Bella Sky Copenhagen (which is directly connected to Bella Center Copenhagen) and Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers. Price: DKK 15 each way. The fifteen seats are filled on a first come, first served principle; if the bus is full, other transport expenses are not covered/ reimbursed by Bella Center. The shuttle runs every 30 minutes between 6 AM and 11 PM. At the airport information desk you will find info about the shuttle parking spot by Terminal 2 from where you can get on the bus.

Richsvej tæt på Grøndal Station er allerede i drift. Strækningen frem til Flintholm Station åbner i december 2003, hvor den midlertidige station lukker. Strækningen mellem Flintholm og Danshøj Station åbner i sommeren 2004.
