THIRD AGE MATTERS READER Dear Sirs

I recently joined HMCA’s Private Healthcare scheme, and chose the top band of cover. Unfortunately, within weeks, I became extremely unwell. HMCA were incredibly helpful. Not only were they charming pre-my joining them, answering my endless questions with great patience, they were prompt and courteous about dealing with the claims that I submitted to them regarding my illness. Because I suddenly became unwell over a weekend, the easiest way for me to go forward was to self-pay as I went along, and to submit all my receipts to HMCA. My claim was dealt with extremely quickly. I unfortunately had a relapse, resulting in having to submit a further claim - again, payment was extremely prompt. Having personally paid out a large amount of money for my medical fees, I was so grateful to be remunerated so rapidly, and with such courtesy. I cannot recommend (and praise) HMCA highly enough. It is bad enough being unwell and vulnerable, let personal alone having to cover such high costs, so it was extremely reassuring to find that my case was dealt with so quickly. accident cover Thank you to all the team at HMCA! included Third Age Matters Member, North London, December 2018 12
