The regulation for any tournament created by the WERC is intended to encourage the participation in all tournaments and that people are taking it serious. E WORLD ESPORT RACING COMMUNITY Introduction Welcome to the WERC RBR Rally Championship. It is a PC exclusive championship. We are very grateful to have an excellent team, full of organisers you can contact. Do not hesitate to ask any questions you have! Some of the reasons for contact that could be given: • Questions related to the championship regulations • To inform the organisation that a participant is going to miss an event (only those reasons that are considered very important will be studied). • If you want to contribute with some advice or comment, so we can improve. Registration: A. Participants: Register your username (real name preferably) first in RBRCZ website. Create your team if you will form one for the championship RBRCZ website, “Team List section”. Register in our web page www.wrcesports.com in which you have to indicate your Gamertag/ Username (same you used for RBR website), Name and Country. After that, follow the steps to sign-up for a championship in its specific section. B. Teams: Team Manager or leader has to send us an email to [email protected] telling us the Gamertag of each one of the drivers or a direct message in WERC Discord to Damian. (see section 1.6). About the WERBR Championship 1.1 Championship Format: The WERBR Championship consists in: • 6 rallies with 8 stages each one and 2 pre-season rallies. • 5 categories / divisions: WRC 1.6 [WERBR 1], WRC 2.0 & R5 [WERBR 2], N4/R4 [WERBR P], R2 [WERBR R], RGT [WERBR G]. • Every round will be opened for 5 days (starting on Wednesdays and finishing at 12:00pm UTC on Mondays). • Standings will be available in WERC website after the end of every rally. • In addition, we open a category to everyone and it doesn’t need registration if you are already registered for other category: Historic [WERBR H]. • Inscription for every rally on RBRCZ website from 10 days prior to event until 3 days before the rally official starting date. • Car choice : On Discord after the Pre-season. 1.2 Rally Format: • 8 stages per rally. • Stages conditions over several days with varying weather conditions. Article 1.5.2 - A DNS/DNF/DNA result will be automatically a discarded rally. Article 1.5.3 - Drivers and Teams lose automatically the points earned previously in that discarded event. * See section 4 for more information about DNS/DNF/DNA. Page !4 of 11! E WORLD ESPORT RACING COMMUNITY 1.6 Team Championship: The following are the rules which all teams have to follow and : Article 1.6.1 - Minimum number of members of the team is 1 driver. Maximum number of 3 drivers within each division. Article 1.6.2 - All drivers of the same team MUST choose the SAME car within the same division. Drivers cannot transfer between new or affiliated teams during the championship. Article 1.6.3 - ONLY the first 2 drivers of a team in each rally and each division will get points for the WERBR Team Championship. 2. E WORLD ESPORT RACING COMMUNITY 3.3 Championship standings: If two or more drivers finish the championship with the same number of points, the higher place in the championship shall be awarded to: I. The holder of the greatest number of first places. II. If the number of first places is the same, the holder of the greatest number of second places and so on until a winner emerges. III. If this procedure fails to produce a result, the WERC will nominate the winner according to such criteria as it thinks fit. 3.4 Team Championship Standings: The points for the WERC RBR Team Championship will be the sum of the points obtained in each event for the first 2 drivers classified of each team within each division. If two or more teams finish the championship with the same number of points, the final positions will be based on the same clauses described in section 3.3. 3.5 Final Standings: Once the championship is over, the final standings will be published. During the championship and after each round the provisional standings will be published.

    1968 − 1984 Colin: the busy baby by Margaret McRae Colin Steele McRae was born on August 5, 1968. It was a Monday. He was born in the William Smellie Maternity Hospital in Lanark. And he was a much-wanted child – a first grandchild for my parents, however Jim’s mum and dad already had two. It’s from Jim’s mum that Colin took the name Steele – it was her maiden name. We were living in Blackwood, about five miles from Lanark, in those days. And it was to the house in Vere Road, Blackwood that we would have taken Colin home – if we hadn’t still been renovating the cottage at the time. Instead, we went and stayed with my parents for two or three weeks while we finished the work on the house. This was actually quite a God-send as my dad wasn’t feeling too well at the time and having a newborn baby in the house really took his mind off things. He spent all of his time, just focused on the baby. Right from the off, Colin was a busy baby and, unfortunately for us, not a baby to whom sleep came easily or quickly. I think he stayed in our room for about seven weeks, before we knew the time had come for him to go into his own room. I don’t think Colin really slept through the night completely for about two years. Alister, his younger brother, was something of a revelation by comparison and slept really quickly. It’s fair to say, Colin wasn’t an easy baby.

Hayden and Seb’s first podium of the season in Turkey on the last round was a nice moment and a plus following a measured and intelligent drive, but we know we missed out on so much more. Because of that, there has been a shift in the championship battle and we need to bounce back and do so quickly. We will aim to do just that in Wales. Thierry and Nicolas led in Turkey and showed that the pace of our Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC was strong on the very rough stages we found there. The points they scored for winning the Power Stage after an impressive performance showed what might have been and could yet have a crucial bearing in the final championship reckoning. It is unfortunate that Turkey didn’t go to plan for Hyundai Motorsport, but we have to accept the situation and come back fighting; it is what rallying is all about. The positive things are clear: we have a good car, good drivers, Thierry and Nicolas still lead the championship and were competitive on Rally GB last year. Like Thierry and Nicolas, Andreas and Anders also led in Turkey. Andreas spent much of his early career in Wales and has a good knowledge of the terrain and what he needs to do to be quick.
