Dear Friends,

I would like to thank you for all the prayers, cards and gifts I have received in the last few weeks. June is a month where I celebrate my birthday, my ordination anniversary, and many of you kindly wished me a happy Father’s Day. Thank you so much!

The last few weeks while I have been talking with my classmates, none of us can believe we have been ordained 25 years! However, when I look at young parents and think back to when they were in second and third grade, then it does seem like 25 years have passed.

Along with my classmates, I am so grateful and humbled to have had the opportunity to serve God and His people for many years!

I have really enjoyed my years of serving as a . Being able to receive the Sacraments have been crucial in my own journey of faith. It has been so rewarding to be able to bring Jesus in the DIVINE CHILD WEEKLY LIVE Mass and the Sacrament of Reconciliation to others. Each STREAMED EVENTS: sacrament helps us to grow closer to Jesus. I am honored to be part of the faith journey of so many people. Mass: Saturdays at 4:30pm In the Vatican II documents, it is clear that a universal call to Intercessory Prayer: Thursdays at 7 pm holiness was being called forth to every Catholic. The sacraments and a strong parish family and schools help us The live stream events can be viewed by visiting the respond generously to the universal call to holiness. In the last 25 years, I do not think I have every suffered from boredom! Sharing in the joys and sorrows of parish family life has brought great fulfillment to my life! Even amid this global THE CHURCH IS OPEN FOR pandemic, it is impossible to be bored at Divine Child. There are so many things taking place. In the last few months, many of PRIVATE PRAYER those things have been behind the scenes. Nonetheless, Divine Child is always a wonderful and a blessed place to be. Weekdays 6:00am to 7:00pm Saturday 7:00am to 6:00pm I would like to thank all of you for your kind, thoughtful and Sunday 6:00am to 3:00pm sincere welcoming of me over the past year. It has been a warm reception and I immediately felt at home here. Thank you so much!

It was God’s loving Providence that brought me to Divine Child EUCHARISTIC ADORATION AND one year ago. Today, I am reminded of something St. Vincent de NOVENA Paul once said, “You should never tread on the heels of Providence; but if Providence opens the way, you should run.” Eucharistic Adoration is on Tuesdays from May we run side by side, keeping our eyes fixed on Christ! Together, we will help each other to fulfill the plan Jesus has for 6pm 7pm followed by Our Lady of Perpetual Help each of our lives. Novena at 7pm

God’s Peace and Joy,

Fr. Bob CONFESSIONS P.S. We will always keep Fr. Matt in our prayers. I am also happy now to have the opportunity to serve with Fr. Paul Graney Saturdays 2pm 4pm and Fr. David Pellican.
