INCIDENTALLY ... AROUND CAMPUS THIS WEEK

November 8 The Political Science Dept. is now accepting applications for its 1995 legal, politics/legislative, and public administration internship programs. Sophomores, juniors and seniors of all majors are welcome to apply. It's a great way to gain hands-on experience in law, politics or govern- ment as well as an invaluable opportunity to meet and work with po- tential career contacts. Some internships offer stipends, and all grant a total of eight academic credits for work and study during the Winter and Spring semesters. Deadlines for the General Assembly internship application were Oct. 26; all others are due Nov. 16-17. For more in- formation, contact the Internship Coordinator at X2063, or stop by AD601 to pick up an application. November 8 As part of the Fall Film Series, the Department of Modem Languages and Linguistics will show Olympia, a film directed by Leni Riefenstahl, this is part II, entitled Fest Der Schoenheit (Festival of Beauty). The film is highly controversial for the fact that it was commissioned by the Nazis. The film will be shown at 7:30 p.m. in LH IV. The film is free and open to the public. For more info, call X2109 or X2003. November 9 The UMBC Department of MLL will screen films from the DEFA Documentary Series.
