The palate remains on fresh citrusy notes to the finish. This is a textured and full flavoured expression of Chablis. Müller-Thurgau, Pojer e Sandri, Palai 121 2017 Trentino-Alto Aldig, Italy 55.00 Müller-Thurgau is a crossing of Riesling and Madeleine Royale, it was created in 1882 by Dr. Herman Müller (of Thurgau, Switzerland), after whomit is named. Müller-Thurgau shows elegant characters of yellow flowers followed by stone fruits like apricot and peach with a hint of fresh pear and apple. The winemaker Scott Schulz has a tiny production ( only 2 tons of grapes) but the tension, complexity and concentration of the different art work on the label to celebrate each vintage individually- no wine is ever the same. Henrys Seven, Henschke 616 2016 Eden Valley, Barossa, South Australia 75.00 Henschke is a family owend 151 year old winerty and is one of Australians icon wineproducer. This blend is a tribute to Henry Evans who planted the first vineyard of seven acers at Keyneton in 1853. It shows attractive aromas of spiced plum, red currant and blue berry fruits. The round, supple palate is filled with juicy blue and red fruits, spiced plum, liquorice and notes of crushed tarragon, with beautifully textured svelte tannins and a long, peppery finish. Sweet Wines 375ml Château de Cerons 505 2009 Sauternes, Bordeaux, France 39.00 for sweet wine which shows a bit lighter style and dryer than most Sauternes. Caroline describes her Sauvignon Blanc & Semillion blend as "très Cérons, agrumes oranges amères, safran" - (citrus, bitter orange, saffron).
