The program is comprised of three (3) separate lines of research: Cancer, Mitochondrial mutations, and Lysosomal storage. The Lysosomal project is ongoing part-time at the Research Center. The Cancer line of research screened a wide range of drug candidates, looking for therapeutic candidates for their research after filing their patent, and the project was completed at the end of Q3 in 2017. The Organization's student program, SRF Education Academic Initiative, is committed to educating students and the public. SRF Education operates a summer internship program that places 12 undergraduate students at the SRF Research Center and outside institutions. A sub-program of SRF Education is the Alliance program, which funds PhD and Post-Doctoral students at Oxford University.
