Mifgash Hagalil ve Haemek- is located at a central geographic junction in the Yizrael Valley- the Tel Adashim Junction with views of the Nazerath Mountains and Mount Tabor. Tel Adashim Junction has been a significant spiritual, cultural and social meeting point throughout the history of mankind. Mifgash Hagalil ve Haemek – The Center for Arts is located in the heart of Mifgash Haemek Vehagalil. As a multi-cultural arts center , it has been nurturing artistic talent as well as promoting rich and varied educational activities for over 3 decades. Center for Peace Nir – Kutz Architects The Mifne Program, centered at the Center for Arts in partnership with the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra , the Buchman-Mehta School and with the support of Bank Leumi Israel and the Arab-Israel Bank , has been the axis for social and multicultural activities in the Galilee. The Mifne Program with all its components, acts as a bridge between the peripheries and the center, closing gaps and nurturing a fertile soil that encourages the development of young musicians from different communities in the region. As the Mifne Program expands and develops, there is an urgent need to build a conference space in which we will be able to host musical conferences, seminars, concerts and other cultural events. Building the Peace and Friendship Auditorium near the current Center for Arts would be a proper solution for this urgent need. The auditorium will be part of a unique center that will face the main thoroughfare of the Tel Adashim junction, thus open and inviting to guests and residents alike for a multidisciplinary experience. The center would face the main Plaza which would host organized and spontaneous events. The rest of the site would be covered with greens that would contribute to the serene and cultural scene. Serving the arts center, some small retail would be included such as: music education and instruments, record and album shops, a coffee shop and other leisure functions throughout the center for the center’s visitors and their guests. We are convinced and believe that Mifgash Hagalil ve Haemek would act as a multicultural center full of life and rich in activities, which will greatly contribute to peace making and qualifying of social leadership in the Galil.
